US SPECIAL FORCES are just guest's in India but they indeed enjoyed their long stay in pakistan and afghanistan........ truly some have changed their there homes.....

Maybe India could not handle terrorist threats ( As we have seen in Mumbai Attack, Recent attack on diplomat) etc..so they requested US Special Forces protection which is completely understandable.

They are here for securing pak nukes in case of the situation arrive.

US Spl Forces Teams not stationed in India: Defence Ministry

India today rejected a top US military commander’s statement that American Special Forces were deployed in various South Asian countries including India. The Defence Ministry was responding to a statement made by Admiral Robert Willard, the PACOM Commander who had said that American Special Forces teams are currently stationed in India as part of the counter-terrorism cooperation. “The report is factually incorrect in so far as reference to India is concerned,” Defence Ministry said in a release. “US Special Forces Teams have never been stationed in India in the past, nor are such teams stationed in the country presently,” the release said here. Willard had told American law makers yesterday that, “We have currently special forces assist teams – Pacific assist teams is the term – laid down in Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, as well as India.

I think you are forgetting the Pakistani response to the attack on army headquarters.
