US soldier insulting Islam (Warning: May be abusive to many muslim)

There is nothing in military discipline about religions. Sentiments are hurt, agreed..but technically no law - civil or military is violated by his act.

sorry mate they don't call an officer a gentleman for no reason.

Military institution does promote and teaches religious, caste , creed tolerance and expect their soldiers to respect others irrespective of their background

Can military equipment used to abuse another religion ?isnt tht a violation of military discipline........... isnt he putting his a$$ n others at danger?

Understand my post.

I said there is no law specifically dealing with these instances. It is at the discretion of the commander to give out un-official raps to the soldier.

official or unofficial that soldier was supposed to be punished and possible hate crime case can also be brought against him. Freedom of speech does not allow to promote hate intentionally. Jesus in bikini picture is not like promoting hate towards muslim by insulting islam with mike. Both are different.
