US sanction: Ready to work with Bangladesh against all forms of hegemonism: China

An 'unelected' Hasina is doing a lot better than any 'elected' leaders Pakistan or most from other third-world democracies. You can read a lot of admirations from Pak posters on this forum. So you think BD should have multiple color revolutions?
Who are you saying so? Do you live in Bangladesh or are you familiar with Bangladesh's ground reality? Or are you reading propaganda news from Indian media? I hear that India and China are becoming closer day by day!

However it's your decision, if you are becoming closer to India or anyone! I honor this decision as you are sovereign country!

So we are sovereign country as well! Let us take our own decisions! All govt maintained a good relationship with China , not Only Hasina!

So if you really don't interfere, stop saying that which govt is better for us!

Yes bro. This is what I want to say. China supports the Bangladeshi government. Not Hasina.

You are supporting dictatorship by investing money in Bangladesh.

Bangladeshi ppl in general love china…but if you guys keep supporting hasina government it will backfire.

China supports the “legitimate government of Bangladesh”. You said Hasina was a dictator. We deeply regret it.

I have three options here. Please select.

1. China supports the legitimate government of Bangladesh. Whether democratic or not (as you judge).

2. China meddling in Bangladesh elections. "Overthrow" Hasina's dictatorship.

3. China no longer supports any government of Bangladesh. Directly support the proxy government.

Please select.

Is it necessary for China to "do something" and change some "colors" like Americans. To satisfy you?

Support a government that’s elected thorough fair elections! Is that hard to do?

Only legitimate govt Bangladesh can have is through fair elections. It’s on the constitution.

How to choose your government is your business, not China's, China works with foreign incumbent governments and it's not China's say if they are "legitimate" or not.

Yes. China supports Bangladesh's legitimate elections. China supports the legitimate government of Bangladesh... So, what have you guys been protesting about?

you just do not know that the sitting BAL politicians do not have a policy of industrial development. So, people build garment factories only.

Rather, they like businesses to import other items. And in the process, politicians take?import bribes. This is our Golden Bangladesh. Do not get shocked.

Only yesterday, BD imported coal from China and Indonesia. Why so when the country’s coal reserves exceed 2000 million tons? It is because our politicians get bribe money from the importers. So, our local coal is not mined.
In most cases in third-world countries, resources could not be utilized because local officials were very corrupted. But the central government needs to take the initiatives to build infrastructures that include roads and power plants, give tax incentives to foreign investors to build factories, etc. Look at China's development, and Vietnam's. Your imagination is limited to 'garments'.

Do as you please but don't blame China. China doesn't interfere in BD's internal affairs. Hasina is the BD's chief and so China talks to her, not you. This is the UN mandate. China has no interest exporting revolutions. You already know whom to turn to looking for money to start your own color revolution. But don't ask China to be in your camp.

Unless China become the biggest market for Bangladeshi garment exports, the statement is worthless.
Eventually it has the potential. USA has 333 million people, while China has 1.4 billion people. China is moving up the value added chain and out of RMG production slowly, that means Bangladesh will to a large degree move into a lot of that market. PLUS, with reduced local production Chinese imports of RMGs will go up, and our exports of RMGs to china will go up.

Bangladesh is just 3rd place behind China and Vietnam and only accounts for 8.5% of the RMG imported into the US, (8.5% of a 333 million market) , increasing our exports to China could be just as lucrative, with 10% of a 1.4 billion market.

Been hearing that for last 6-7 years, I doubt this will ever materialize. When China does a project in Bangladesh it brings in the cement , rods, nuts and bolts from China. All the while saying these materials are specially made for the project in China .
