Apache long bow is a great choice for Indian military. why wouldn't this be a slam dunk decision is beyond me. Maybe the politicians are figuring out the kickbacks they can get for each deal and base decisions on the kickbacks.

Indeed it is beyond you. the decision will be taken by professionals in the IAF, who possess better judgement in these matters that you do.

We are not gettiing any TOT by buying these fighters, only 26 attacke helos.

Americans are not reliable when it comes to anctions and Russians are not reliable when it comes to mainatanance and parts...

Everything is just so interwined.

I hope India buy the best gun ship available and go for the long bow. If india has more western arms, then India can draw closer to the democracy instead of the dictatorship in Russia.
