It was a good bit on how Mandarin sound versus Cantonese. You can tell he probably hangs out/grew up with a lot of Chinese friends.
Also, the Cantonese English accent and the Mandarin English accent are quite different.
There are a lot of similarities though. For example, neither Mandarin or Cantonese have the "V" sound, so "ventilation" will sound like "wentilation".
Hong Kong English is easily distinguished because there is no "R" sound in Cantonese (unlike Mandarin) so "free" will end up sounding like "fee".
