Starving lol,there will be survival of about 80-90 million thanks to civil defence. We already have considerable food storage facilities which store food which can last for 3-4 years for the common public.

We just need to carry out dilution of population of cities and transfer of population to villages and sparsely populated zones that will reduce casualties to levels of 10 million.But in peacetime there are problems as such measures do not generate economic efficiency though it was ardently imposed in USSR.

Russia might get involved but the problem is they wont, Assad will probably tell them to interfere and stop the attack, But Russia cant afford to get its ships in Mediterranean sea being targeted by america. Russia wont get involved, America will attack and go.

i think something like "cuba Missile settlement" will happen
when us assured that they will not attack cuba if ussr remove missiles from cuba. in exchange for removal of nuclear weapons from turkey.
i don't understand what is the real interest of russia in this game i.e defending syria?

No, It isn't about being a superpower, but no world war will break out for Assad on Russia's end.
