This video is severely outdated and this guy is a hell of a conspiracy theorist.

You may think so since you don't feel it as directly but for strategists in China this is a concern (unless a good number of them are just conspiracy theorists). Only the paranoid survives in this world, especially when you are managing the fate of nations. There is a difference between the way civilians think and national strategists, different stakes, different dynamics, different scope. In fact I think China and Pakistan should be more paranoid than its current state but remain flexible to exploit opportunities. Complacent thinking puts one's fate in another's hands, the operators of those hands might not always have your best interests in mind. If it really comes to it, America could potentially initiate (attempt) the disintegration of Pakistan to wage a long war on China and Russia, though wouldn't expect this to be pushed fully anytime soon. From China's perspective this already begun years ago, thought its mostly just moving of pieces so far.

What this man is saying is valid. Also the US embassy in Pakistan had expanded, meaning American operations in Pakistan is expanding. Embassies are not just for diplomatic relations, they are facilities for management, intel, and other clandestine operations. Americans complain about Chinese influence but from my view America holds immense influence and practically controls some countries in the region from a macro view (domestic decides the micro policies). Their control over macro dynamics are effectively arranging the pieces for the next war, savor these years of relative peace (it might not directly affect you personally or where you live).
