First of all, I did not make that claim. MIT did with its report on January 2019, as with the previous person, if you think or have evidence that point toward what the MIT report is wrong, then please feel free to contact MIT so they would either update or retract that report.

Second of all, if you want to challenge their claim, then by the court of law, you are the liable party of the burden of proof. Now, as a former law student which is one exam away from being a lawyer, I can tell you this, in a civil claim court(Yes, this would be a civil claim), if you have any allegation on the other party, say in a libel case, it is not up to the accused to proof their innocents, it's up to the accuse to submit evidence. You cannot sue me for libel and ask me to provide proof that what I said did exist. On the other hand, you need to show what I said did not exist through something we called affidavit. Without that, you cannot challenge the claim. You will not have a standing in court.

Now, as I say one last time, read the report, do your research, it's up to you. If you want to challenge the MIT review, feel free to contact them. But out here asking for proof to discredit people review. That is not how academic do stuff. You have sufficient evidence? Shove it down MIT mouth and I think if you are lucky, they may even offer you an apology.

I give you an example in practice where quantum computing is useful.
Let’s assume Vietnam wants to decipher the PLA military code.
Ok we assume further the PLA uses a modified version of international standard code AES256, s symmetric encryption, a chinese variant, that is extremely difficult too impossible to decipher. We assume the PLA uses the standard praxis in changing the encryption key every day if not every hour. Even if we have supercomputers we have no chance to knack the key. Even if we could capture the key, we can’t use it because the key itself is encrypted.

So how to knack the PLA military code?

because Vietnam’s survival is at stakes!

If we knew: when and where the PLA launches the attack we would be better prepared.

From what I read they are the ones that firstly developed a quantum chip - called sycamore. It is said the 53 qubits chip is able to solve a complex mathematical function in random numbers within minutes while supercomputer need 10,000 years. That’s great I believe.

China is ahead of others on quantum communication. Which has already been in practice. And China published more papers in quantum field than others. Google's quantum computer so far can only used for solving some math problems. Long way to go to become a full fuction quantum computer. But still it is a great achievement

I am not convinced.
Your claim is very problematic because it is not verifiable. China quantum is something nobody knows. It’s nationalistic driven, only chinese employed. The US employs talents regardless nationality. Google CEO comes India, it’s engineers coming from all parts of the world. It’s quantum computer can be seen and toughed. Can anyone outside China visit the labor of chinese quantum makers like Google?

For billions of years Husbands/Significant others have been trying to decode the programming algorithm that their wives' brain functions on and have yet to see success. I reckon that Morris codes, Huffman Codes and now even AES 256 can be decoded but we still have a long way to go before we decode the algorithm that governs a wife's thought process.

On a serious note, China has come leaps and bounds in terms of quantum computing and is ready to give hard time to its competitors in the coming years.

Quantum computer can be used to decrypt secret codes. Quantum communication can protect information from being decrypted. Quantum communication technology itself is secrecy related to national security. It's very natural that few people know it. You should know the German Engne code story.

It’s very common that nations put their resources together to solve a problem. China has 1.4 billion people you don’t need other I can understand.

India has 1.3 bil... And Africa has 1 bil+..... So? When it takes 2 countries and 1 bloc to try to match us that tells u something

You think the claim of the computer speed can be make up without being joke of the century after being uncovered?

The computer speed are verify by top500 for staff secomputer with staff to witness it. It cannot be just make out of the thin air.

Well the egnima code was designed to withstand brute force attack. It was not designed to withstand the human stupidity that made the Egnima vulnerable. The German coders made terrible mistakes during the encryption process. By the way, during WW II the US knocked Japan‘s military code too. But it’s still remained classified how they did it.

I am curious to find out how quantum encryption functions and where are the vulnerabilities?
