yep, poor country, no ambition, and perhaps more importantly, no capability to project force and force an agenda beyond our immediate border.. even on our borders, only so much we can do vs nuclear Pakistan and China.
and speaking of China, even they don't have a global force projection capability, only the west (a big conglomerate of allies within NATO, and to a lesser extent, Russia does)
I don't want India to wage distant wars but I do wish we had the capability to do so.. these isis and rebels sallafist groups must go, and I'd pay to see a mki squadron or 2 raining hell on jihadis, too bad it's not going to happen, oh well.. still encouraging to see a politician, even if it's a potty-mouth like Swamy, to come out and speak about Syria and the bigger ideological war against saudi ideology.
How is it in Pakistan now, spl given this apparent growing closeness to Russia and also being a staunch ally of the al saud regime ? what do the people think about the Syrian war, and what is your government's official position on it ?
