US Navy's next-generation destroyer to be build

It benefits the United States to have a strong and robust India. Expect to see a blossoming relationship between Washington and New Delhi. India's rise as a pre-eminent regional power in the Western, South Asian region will be a counterweight to further Chinese hegemonic ambitions.

Additionally, India's secular and democratic factor relegates her as a stable power, one that will help in the maintenance of order in the region.

sory to say, but i think indian govt has it made it very clear in past 3 yrs that relations with usa are not to counter china. china and indian trade is getting farr bigger than usa-india trade. china and india could form a group of their own, with other asian power including russia. only time will how things unfold. its a matter of interests not any democratic or secular indicators.

Of course it will not admit it, but geopolitically speaking, my friend, it is so. China and Pakistan have formed a nexus against India. Chinese forces and Pakistani defense forces working with each other on the LAC. Geopolitically speaking, India will continue to work closely with the United States.

You've got to be kidding me, I wrote a complete post, and for some reason, 1 mouseclick and wrong fingermovement accidently erased my post which I was about to submit.

I put so much work into that post filled with counter arguments...

Sigh..i'll leave a reply later, taking a break now, bitter dissapointment. :coffee:

the balance of power will shift to east no doubt abt that. its actually already shifting.
he didnt even mention india in his post, so why u brought india into this.

we r not their slaves like u guys, we deal with them just like any other country. we know how to negociate with the so called superpower usa.

due to their trade deficit, india rips us off by 40 billion every year and its rising. they know they have to trade with india or else we will simply keep ripping them off.

they already owe us over 100 billion in loans. as indian banks grow huge this will also rise. usa has to trade with us or else they will make another china in the region. and they dont want another china like competition in the region. 1 china is becoming hard for them to handle.

and talking abt the debt problem, better dont wory abt that, its a 15 trillion economy with worlds largest saving, even if their debt goes upto 250% of gdp they can still keep growing and maintain superpower status. the race has just begun and u already gave the final verdict.

Keep it down with your tone boy, Pakistan is no slave, if you really want to talk about slaves, there are plenty of them in both India and Pakistan.

@ USAHawk785, I will give you a reply later, I accidently erased my (long) post which I was about to submit, so I need to lose the dissapointment.

Looks the same...

Besides, tough talk with all due respect, we've seen what 2 planes can do to your country and people,...
May be you should look at what a pissed off US can do: the ME.

Let alone a full-scale war against an opponent equal in strength and size, opponents who will be there in the near future. ;)
Let US know when you can scrape one such opponent up. Then convince him to attack US and see what happens. But the reality is that we will have to come down BEFORE anyone else can rise up. You think China can do it within the next 50 yrs? You have a better chance getting a date with a Victoria's Secret girl.

It's next generation. New power system capable of handling rail guns in the future for example....

this is like Star Trek: you know when they say: all power to weapons or shields. Except here the capt'n will be able to say only all power to weapons, sensors, ECM. No force fields as of yet :P

Hahaha...for the sailors sake, there better be no exploding conn panels at the slightest problem.

Occasionally I do get that problem. What I do for long replies is save them on notepad (or some text editor). It doesn't take much to delete a text file once you've completed your post.

You achieved nothing in Iraq except kill million innocent people.
Let us be realistic: Saddam is gone, right?

He was a threat to Iran too. American mission in Iraq has been beneficial to Iran too.

you pussies have been threatening to attack Iran for dacades, well go ahead then we are waiting.
This is a sign of immaturity. Do you think that a needless war will be beneficial to Iran?

also how old are you? 5? It is a very common reply to reply by saying no I have many friends from <insert nation> so I love them.
yeah whatever.
Your responses are not positively reflecting on you as well. A friendly advice from me.

We've killed more Americans than we can count. 32 years of threats and nothing. Hurry the **** up pussies, what's the hold up?

All you can do is talk.
23 years to be precise.

Operation Praying Mantis happened in 1988. And results were not good for Iran.

Thats a beauty of a ship....prohibitively expensive (sorry...Indian genes kicking in) though.
