Currently Venezuela is rumored to have even bigger oil fields then SA.

The world is addicted to oil..Plain & Simple. Everybody thinks that once we find a way to safely run hydrogen cars everything will be fine, but the reality is that even to make that car we need oil which is the raw material for everything from plastics to chemicals to paints. Only and only if we can find alternative for all this items, can we be free of oil.

PS Russia had more resources when it was the Soviet Union.

Very true Petroleum is used for other products as well however lets say the world reduced at least 35-40 % off Oil then it's a good start, the key right now is to reduce Oil needs.

What I read somewhere is that the US is putting on a motion infront of the GCC summit in December where they will vote on it. I know Qatar Kuwait and UAE are already going to say yes since they do not trust Saudi Arabia to protect them efficiently while we are trying to convince them that there is no needs for US bases with us around and that is one of the main reasons of the very big military deals since we are planning to convince them that we are a military power in our own right.

May be SUV's can be powered by hydrogen fuel ...as burning a hydrogen will give out only water...

and the new US UCAV showcased used hydrogen as fuel.so yes,hydrogen fuel is future for SUv's and trucks

why do u think im advocating to quit oil imports and use eco friendly fuel like hydrogen and solar and electricity to be used for cars???

if cars around the world run on hydrogen or electricity source ,then global warm will gradually come down and it is good for earth and islamic terrorism will come down as these terrorists get funds by exporting oil....
