Great deal of difference between you guys and us.

We know how to handle Uncle Sam.
Two examples:
#1. Uncle Sam signed the Civil Nuke Deal with us. And we negotiated Nuke Power plants with Russia and France. Uncle is still waiting.

#2. Uncle Sam desperately lobbied for the MMRCA deal. We gave it to France. Uncle went back empty handed.

Now who were the guys hoping for more Falcons from Uncle Sam? With the "supply tap" facing the omnipresent danger of being shut any-time?
Same with that CARROT AIM-120s. Or are they LEMONS?

I disagree they were excellent in thier double game while it lasted, they are also good in changing beds at the appropiate time. Respect where respect is due. here is the handwriting on the wall . never take a sip of any drink when reading whatever you post. Trust me it just happened to me after I read the most rabid of anti Indian poster- post a pseudo " concern " for India over the US relationship ( cleaning myself up as I write this)

there is no India Pakistan parity hyphenation or similarity in the outlook. Get that through your noggin dear man. From US perspective-Pakistan was/ is a crutch and burden on the US ala a necessary situation we had to babysit. It was always about bribing Zia or subsequent govt. always about us spending dollars to keep Pakistan propped up.

US India relationship is based on mutual interest, trade and economics that does not see our hard earned tax dollars go to aid India, prop it or bribe its govt. Also at no point is India a hotbed of security risks for the US unlike Pakistan was and is. You needed US as much as they wanted you because Russians were at your border. There isn't any such situation in India's case. There is no question of building or destroying India, because it will never be the red headed step child, the lose cannon, the " coup" capital of the region, the anti democracy or theological radical.

The two cases studies are so far apart that whenever I see Pakistanis like yourself show pseudo concern for India ( face it- 99.999% of times you bash India, only show false concern when US relationship is discussed here), I can't help but think. There they go again thinking and talking in terms of equal parity with India. Ironically even your few allies look at India differently vs. how they see you i.e. India is seen as more of an economic partner, stable and one that is a growing power and not a regional and global cause for concern.
