Bro I am one of the ardent opponents of F-16 and advocate that Pakistan should explore other options including but not limited to JV, ToT based aircraft programs and also acquisition of aircrafts with friendly nations like China and Russia. Obama has stated his challange clearly. That US will strike where it needs to in Pakistan. Now the ball is in Pakistan's court. Do we prepare for war? And do we say " dare try it again".

Taking those drone out is as easy as squatting flies. The problem is what happens after. That would amount to declaring war on USA. So the question is not can we knock the drones out because that is easy. The real question is does Pakistan want a war with USA over the drones?

That is something Pakistan has to decide. So far the pointers suggest Pakistan does not want war with USA over the drones.

Since Taliban leadership won't find it easy within Pak, hopefully, they'll move back to where they came from. It's a huge plus. Now, all the parties are getting what they want: (1) The USA policy makers can give "tick marks" against the action items, (2) ANA can take on Taliban militarily, and (3) Taliban can sort their positions out with their compatriots. As for the Paks, at the least, no more "do mores" - it can sometimes get on your nerves...
