US Drone Strikes mosque during Fajr prayer

Mosques are public places and clearly since the US hit during Fajr prayer, they waited till the militants would walk in during the prayer times (meaning they were not holed in the mosque and in hiding).

Militants coming in and going out of public areas are not the fault of the Public that has to be killed alongside.

But it is the job of Pakistani security forces to prevent Militants from roaming around freely in public. When Pakistan cant do it, it has no right to blame the result of that failure on USA..

Its ironical really.. You can not protect your own citizens from terrorists, but you blame and crib about USA which does (protect its own citizens)

.
they are destroying whatever they can...and Pakistan is just letting them destroy...why don't they deploy jets and SAMs???

First of all there are millions of voices in PAkistan - without a doubt the majority saying Pakistan should knock the planes down.

But obviously the government continues to do the undemocratic thing of not following public opinion. It does that obviously because there are still further threats that the US can escalate towards and threatens its way into this state of acquiescence from the Pakistani state. Its wrong and ultimately it will change and force Pakistan and the US into a limited military conflict over the drones (until of course the US escalates).

so,you want to say that Pakistan'll continue to be mute (except few condemnation) on that matter in the fear that it can escalate the situation???

It is also the job of the US to guard the border well and prevent terrorists traveling 300 km to Kabul and launching an attack.

Instead of looking at how they went freely into Kabul, and other places, they just pick out the convenient target, they came from the other side of the border.

Borders need to be enclosed from both sides, which is evidently not happening,

Then the sanity of the plan has to come into question or you have to confess that the US is holding the lives of the Pakistani public hostage - kill the militants or we kill the Pakistani public. The issue obviously is not if the US could beam out Uzbek militants from NWA without harming a hair on anyone else we would be having a much different conversation. This fake naivety out of you all is so frustrating that you would play dumb and watch by and condone the killing of the Pakistani public through missiles.

Your sanity must come into question. There are many no go areas within China Town in NYC that just cannot be policed by the NYPD - except in some rare operations. Why doesn't the US use drone attacks on NYC? Should the rest of the world take it upon themselves to fire missiles on them?

There is a due process, the issue should be approached to the Federal Government of Pakistan which holds the command over the Army's NWA operation. Has there not been ample reasons given for the delay in the NWA operation? Why don't the Americans hold a debate on why Pakistan cannot hold an operation there? The federal government is answerable to the Pakistani Parliament, which is answerable to the people of Pakistan why doesn't the US campaign for a NWA operation?

There is always a due process, don't kid yourself and don't play dumb with the lives of innocent people and advocate the killing of bystanders and worshippers who have no ability to control the outcome.

That is exactly what I didn't say, I said the muteness will not last.

What kind of logic is that? Let me flip that and ask, why doesn't pakistan campaign for the drone strikes to stop, or simply shoot down a drone or two?

Nobody would care if these militants were not attacking neighboring countries and ISAF forces, then it would be an internal matter for pakistan. But its not. Pakistan can not talk about the right of sovereignty without the responsibilities that go with it.

Collateral damage and innocent lives can not be defended, but it happens in all wars. It seems through inaction pakistan wants just that so that the supply of stretegic assets continues.

US does not know what they are hitting their drone attacks are all blind fire they have no Intel they just go, fire & kill. Use your common sense, Just because US thinks NWA is a trouble region they are doing what ever they want & they are doing the same in Yemen & Sudan as well, they have no idea what they are hitting they just want to kill lots of Muslims & they are on a killing spree.

US is on war against Islam they are just not going to admit it until the last moment.

Question first:
Was the mosque marked as such from the outside or was it one of those nondescript buildings used as a mosque?

Second point:
This was a drone strike, not a commando raid. Even if some militants were inside the mosque, there was no need to bomb it during prayer services while civilians were using it. The US could have waited until the militants exited.

During the raids on Serbia, NATO didn't bomb Milosevic and his family during Sunday church service.

.
This incident will only be a tool for terrorists to recruit more people to their war against U.S. and NATO. More harm will come out of this. U.S. will lose all its friends in the Islamic world if it continues bombing Mosques.

Good point.
Don't they learn? By burning the Qur'an, by murdering innocent people, by keeping body parts etc in the struggle in Afghanistan - have they not learnt anything? By bombing a mosque during prayer time in a mosque is a disgraceful act.
They simply are losing friends everywhere in the world. I wonder who advises them on acts like this. Unfortunately for all - another band of people will choose to dig in their heels and join the dissent against the creators of this type of barbaric act.

Ratko Mladic is in trial, wonder why don't they kill him straight away.

Or is there some ambiguity whether he did commit a crime or not!
