It's not on the cards how many times do you think they will ask the same question again and again. This is not on the cards Moeed even said it 2 days ago. This is not on the cards or negotiable. I think it has something to do with them seeking recalibration of ties and trying to fix the errors commited by that deputy lady. The Pak-US ties are at complete risk because of her comments and I think this is what the Pak' side communicated to them.. You can say alot of things but the one thing you don't do against Pakistan is side with India in any conversation they commited the unthinkable sin and imo they are trying to right that wrong and they realize the gravity of the error and the future implications it could have

I know but they will try to manage the ties because without Pakistan's cooperation they are seriously weakened and it makes them out of the loop sort of in many other arena's and Afghanistan itself is irrelevant in this scenario. Just the whole region becomes a blind spot for them if they don't have Pakistan's cooperation hence Pakistan-US ties breaking down is not good for them at all they need assurances from Pakistan in regards to not sharing nuke info etc etc. They need Pakistan more than the other way and many in the region want their relations to fail because they will gain from it one way or another example countries like KSA, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco etc etc. they would benefit from a Pakistan who has zero ties with the US nor one that adheres to international law..

Time will tell. The Americans are fiercely divided on many issues and how to deal with Pakistan is certainly one of them. Pakistan cannot extract anything from the Americans. Such irrelivant visits should be taken with a pinch of salt.
