US Commander Gen. John Nicholson says US knows the Afghan Taliban leadership isin the Quetta and Pes

. .
Basically there is, and there are ways to handle situations, why China is very active diplomatically for Pakistan instead of it's own issue of Doklam???

there is no written document like in the case of NATO

.
I suggest Pakistan should not complicate the situation on it's part, it should simply stop supporting Taliban and don't waste time on getting suggestions from the Russians or Chinese, they aren't gonna give you protection from USA in 'ANY' context, you guys are alone in choosing the faith of your country.

Pakistanis are brothers to me, let's live in peace and brotherhood. Despite several disagreements we are still thankful of Pakistani people's support to Afghans during their hard times.

Long live both countries and people!
thanks for your comments

the allegations continue. recently an Afghan group of journalists visited GHQ and met Pakistan COAS. Americans will go away one day but we are neighbors.

lets clarify one thing here.

lets say allegation is correct and certain Afghan talib leader is in Peshawar
is he there for to be part of the peace negotiations? if so then Pakistan clarifies this
if not then also explain itself why he is there.
the war against Taliban was fought poorly and became war against Pashtons this was ill thought out idea and Taliban successfully claimed and became protectors of Pashton rights who were persecuted by both Invasion forces and the Northern alliance.
Pakistan has sizable Pashton population and they cant stay silent. negotiated peace is the only option

let me say that. Pakistanis want role of Taliban in the new setup of the national government of Afghanistan because they represent Pashtons. but they dont want them to rule Afghanistan because that will bring us back to pre 911 era and will encourage and legitimize the Pakistani taliban and lets not forget ISIS.

Pakistanis (in the establishment) those favored taliban, nurtured them or supported them are long retired and/ or dead now. the current Pakistani establishment including the agencies have fought the taliban for over 10 years has its soldiers up to the generals killed their families including women and children killed.

in the end, its not the Americans, Saudis, Chinese, Indians or Pakistanis who should decide the fate of Afghanistan but the Afghan people. it is only in our interest to see stable Afghanistan specially with the rise of Daesh we cant offord a restless Afghanistan.

When one can not answer question he usually run away from topic and troll.
That's exactly what I should have said. From where did North Korea came into this whole discussion ?? I mean why did you bring in NK, while we are talking about Afghanistan ?? :)

Because your daddy US have not attacked most sanctioned country in the world and now people are talking about Iraq or Afghanistan type attack on Pakistan, but they forgot that China is major factor due to which US have avoided to attack NK (where China is not happy with NK Government) how the hell US will attack Pakistan like Iraq where China have huge strategic interest and investment??

.
Come back here again when the effects ware off

No more carrots I see. He goes on to say that steps are taken to address those.

Here is a bigger question though

IF Pak refuses to change course, are we gonna see commando style operations and actual air strikes in Pak?
Will Pak shoot down or target americans in Pak, if yes then what are the repercussions ?
We saw how it worked for Turkey in the Russian episode. Big big questions for Pak policy makers...

.
Honest question to Pakistani commentators-What do you think the US will do next against Pakistan?Drone and air strikes deep inside Pakistani territory?or economic sanctions like against Iran and North Korea?

At-least show shame while calling U.S our daddy. Do you know who was and is currently U.S.A's biggest non NATO military alley in the world ??? Does the world SEATO, CENTO ring a bell ???? Here we are talking about a country which used to boast a lot as the biggest non NATO military alley of United States, who loved to be called a front line state in war against terror, yet look at the Irony when they go ahead and call their BIG DADDY U.S.A as India's daddy. If your government and Establishment had an IOTA of shame, they would have severed all ties with U.S.A with immediate effect for all the recent developments.

On topic, tell me how many U.S sanctioned nations are in their good shape like they once used to be ???? I shall give you plenty of examples from Somalia, Libya, Iraq, Syria etc. Did U.S.A had to attack most of them directly ????? LOL :p:

1 September 2017 – At least 28 women and children were killed and an additional 16 injured in air strikes this week in Afghanistan, the United Nations political mission in the country said in initial findings of its probe into the deaths.

The UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) urged authorities to ensure independent, impartial and prompt investigations of both incidents, and to compensate the victims.

“I am deeply saddened to hear that women and children have once again suffered so terribly from the conflict,” said Tadamichi Yamamoto, the Secretary-General's Special Representative for Afghanistan and head of UNAMA. “This is unacceptable. All parties must live up to their obligations to take all feasible measures to protect civilians.”

The incidents took place in Herat, a western province bordering Iran and Turkmenistan, and in Logar, which is south of Kabul on the eastern side of the country.

UNAMA cited a news release issued by United States Forces in Afghanistan that it is aware of an incident in the Logar area and that they have opened an investigation into it.

The air strikes reportedly targeted Anti-Government Elements who had used a civilian compound to attack aircraft.

The UN mission said that it will continue its independent work to establish the facts as to what happened, including allegations that civilians were used as shields.

More civilians have been killed or injured in aerial operations in the first half of this year than in 2016, according to UNAMA.

Initial figures show at least 232 civilians were injured or killed, a 43 per cent increase over 2016, and the majority of the victims have been women and children.
