never been a supporter of NS and his party including khwaja asif. However, lots of applauds for this guy to put the narrative very strongly. He did a good job in my opinion.

As far as US is concerned, this is a grand regional chess game. Pakistan have to make right moves, either we will stay a pawn or will be a victor. It's never about f16s or haqanis, it's more than that and americans know that and so should we.

To be clear, this is election posturing. Their silence for the past 4 years is what exacerbated this negative narrative. I don’t put much weight into these new statements.

Possibly you are right; but going all in and showing fangs to Americans don't fall under election posturing. For that they mostly talk about Kashmir cause and indian terrorism. This is unusual for Pakistan to do; haven't seen all out approach like this from our foreign office in recent history.

Your country really needs a total break from the past as far as politics is concerned and only way to do it is to accelerate the ascendancy of a third force. The ppp is clearly a treasonous group and recent behavior by the PML shows they are not far behind. The military establishment is already being blamed for everything, why not do something positive for once?

The AH-1Z arrival or absence will not do anything to the capabilities of the Pakistani Army. Similar capabilities can be found elsewhere in Turkey and Russia. Anyways, 11 pieces are nothing. So nothing to worry here. But they will arrive. The Americans will maintain minimum connections and the AH-1Z is one way to do that. Despite the threats, they won’t do much unless they find a better access to Afghanistan. This is not happening. Only reason why your country is addressed in the sort of degrading and extremely humiliating language is because your politicians have set a very horrible precedence. Not only was someone like Haqqani made an ambassador but he’s never been held accountable. Your establishment bears as much responsibility.

Unless, Pakistani politicians stop being treasonous and its best minds quit taking hostile stands against their country’s own core interests, others will simply piggyback on these narratives. Pakistan needs to get its house in order and that starts with sorting out hostile voices in the media and its politics. There are no two ways about this.

They do improve the capability, even 12 or 15 pcs. T-129 is a light attack helicopter.

You should worry about your own dilemma.... even during relative peacetime, some 35% of your MKIs are grounded due to spare issues....what will IAF do in case of a conflict.

Wow... so now you are reached to 35%. Earlier you used to say that only 45% available.
Even half of those 65% can take on your A.F.

Btw, Su-30's availability can be taken to 80% during war time. So worry abt your teens.

Additional used F16s from Jordan option was floating for the last 2 years yet no progressed have been made over it and now we know why.

This should be it when it comes to F16s. We have to move on with them and explore other options. JF17s block 3 should be built asap, don't know why we have delayed it till 2020...of course they will be equipped with AESA, Turkish targeting pods,HMDS but its not an alien technology that it requires time to acquire it. Rather than building block 2 we should had directly jumped into block 3 earlier this year if not getting any new platforms.

Also one thing I need to say that this might be a temporary hold up by US to lure Indians. If India refuses F16 project than US can release F16s for Pakistan. Though in either case, we should stop banking on F16s anymore. Time to move on and fast.

From where pakistan will get spare parts of f-16 during war ?

As I said before , No more F-16s,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Forget them , its about time we need to start looking for replacement .
35million $$ per bird from Jordon , lets buy 10 J-10Ps and start replacing Mirages . Unfortunately we don't have any replacement for F-16s in there category.
We have Light Bird of our own JF-17 upgrade this bird ASAP , Don't delay block III.
Time to replace Mirages and add new Single Engine Medium Bird to counter tech and number GAP and J-10s are only option , (J-11D also good option if we want to replace Mirages , but If they are available).

I will say , Build JF-17 , Buy J-10Ps or J-11Ds (to replace Mirages) and try to buy EFTs)(to replace F-16s)........ For 5th Gens J-31 and TFX.

People specially those from our Eastern flank are reading too much into this.....no joy for you characters.
The US may have blocked the transfer of F-16s from Jordan but has the US refused to sell the aircraft provided we finance them.!!!
The transfer doesn't benefit US unless we get them upgraded in America however selling directly to us for hard cash is in US interest....keep in mind the issue of Eight F-16s which has become bone of contention.
