US Backs India On 'One Belt One Road', Says It Crosses 'Disputed Territory'

. . . . . .
It's all good, let them say what they want.

Indians can't do anything to stop CPEC as long as China's hand is pushing forward. UK and other friendly countries have already been invited and showing positive interest in CPEC.

In terms of disputed territory or not, after Pakistan made nukes, military option is off the table for India.

Noise from enemy's is expected. CPEC will result in Pak and Chinese interests intertwined making any enemy plans impossible. You attack CPEC/ Pakistan then you pretty much attack China. Especially when CPEC is in full swing.

They want you to stay poor and conflict ridden within so they don't even have to fire a bullet.

Only age old proxys will try to be used as knives in the back but even they are breathing their last breaths. It seems amidst political issues Pakistan has its priorities straight which is to protect Pakistan and CPEC from foreign proxies.

After this, sheer desperation will follow as we see ie limited heat on LOC which will be met with equal response.

Some emotional Pakistanis here talk about telling the U.S to f off etc but this is what your enemy's want and will only bring you true isolation.

Problem with U.S is they have tunnel vision, their way or they high way. Never respecting anyone's interests unless they allign with U.S. Alot due to strings being pulled from Israel and Jewish lobby. Until then, time to play.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's response should be calm and collected towards U.S and not fall into N Korea type rants although threatening Indians is perfectly fine.

Indians have basically been crying in the U.S lap when Mattis came

The U.S would obviously not want major states to have big economic projects with no U.S involvement

We dont really give a fcuk!!!

Yes, you should have made this clear when the dispute went to UN.
you lost my point anyways you only have chance where you have considerable hindu population and that is only the jammu city ... the jammu suburbs and country and predominantly muslim.
ladakh has more muslims than budhists. The islamophobia going around the world esp.inside india unites them and gives them a common theme.even if they go iindependent(which is least likely), they are geographically closer to karachi and gwadar then they are to mumbai, they are culturally and religiously more closer to their Pakistani counterparts. India can keep jammu city. we dont need them.

And that's what makes OBOR even better. That we are building on a territory that India claims.

What fun it would be if we would be building on something India doesn't claim. CPEC and OBOR are like a big middle finger to India.

Completely agree with what you have written and deliberated upon.

US stance and posture keeps on changing vis a vis Pakistan and India with time and with different transactions. Like US has good business interests (most of the US policies are dictated by corporate giants) in India these days as with the new bed fellows, they want a new improved relations with India to checkmate and counter the rising China juggernaut. They can only watch though as stopping China is improbable now, check the China investment in US treasury, more than 2000 billion USD now, huge investment in other sectors as well in United States.

US keeps a different transactional relationship with Pakistan, more strategic than business oriented(keeps on changing with changing geo politics). This relationship is not hyphenated with India and has a separate trajectory.

And if you look at the US big corporations presence in Pakistan like P&G(55 billion Rs. sales in Pakistan), COKE(sales above 100 billion Rs), PEPSI(sales more than 110 billion Rs. in Pakistan). Mountain DEW(PEPSICO) sale in Pakistan is the second highest in the world. Many dozens more companies, so US big businesses does have this corporate interest in Pakistan. It is not that US will sanction Pakistan or attack it, or will threat to attack it.

And Pakistan need to have good relations with US, looking at the big presence of Pak diaspora in US(about 9 lacs). The students in US universities, other technological cooperation and business dealings(the largest importer of Pakistan products).

All Pakistan needed are good lobbyists, good consular presence and critical pressure groups from Pakistan in the United States.

Educated people like Hussain Haroon(UN Ambassador from Pak) and people like him. Check his interview below, building a strong case for Pakistan with logic and pragmatism....

So the Indians and US agree that entire J&K is disputed territory? What happened to atoot ang policy?
Nope, only dispute from India's perspective is the return of part of Kashmir currently occupied by Pakistan.
