That is rather twisted logic. The fact that such attacks could lead to war and offer no obvious benefit to the Pakistani State are in fact evidence of why there would be no State support of these acts, nor any 'high level authorization'.
There is enough evidence that Pakistani military officers were involved in the training of these Jehadists. Your own media has exposed that ISI was involved in this. When the reporters went to Kasab's village with a camera, they were able to locate his family ...and there were other people in the village who looked like ordinary villagers, but they were able to operate the camera and remove the memory card like professionals.
The reason the media keeps harping on this is because the GoI is pushing it to do so and because it continues to brainwash Indians into hating Pakistan and therefore eliminate chances of a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
Why do you blame GOI when it was GOP who decided to not participate in the UN Voting in the first place ? It was Pakistan who has tried to take Kashmir in violent manners, most recently during the Kargil war.
Are you justifying India's suffering by comparing it with Pakistan's suffering ? Do innocent Indians deserve to be murdered just because innocent Pakistani's are murdered? What do the terrorists gain? I don't know, but I do know that as horrific as the Mumbai attack was, it pales in comparison to the terrorist attacks Pakistan has suffered in the last year or so. What did those terrorists gain? Does following your logic mean that India must have been behind those attacks and that they were 'authorized at the highest level' by Indian authorities?
That my friend is what I called twisted logic.
Besides, can you give me evidence that these terrorists who are terrorizing Pakistan are trained in India with assistance from Indian authorities ? Are they even Indians ?
In India, the democratic government rules the country. By this, I mean that the Government rules the country. Not just in name but in practice.
When Hilary Clinton visited Pakistan, she had a meeting with your nation's representatives. She talked to the President for half an hour, while she talked with the Pak Army chief for over 2 hours. The Americans know whom to talk to.
It is also common knowledge how dominant the Military is in Pakistan.
I remember a time when Pakistan's police trainee HQ was attacked by terrorists (I might be wrong) ...At that time a terrorist was nabbed alive by your law enforcement. He was taken away in a helicopter for interrogation. Has your media published any reports about him ? Does he even have a name ? I would like to know if he says he was trained in or funded by India.
