US-Aid office in LUMS?

Recently, I got information that US-Aid office is running its office from LUMS Pakistan. I also noticed on a visit to its campus (about year ago), diplomats vehicle inside this academic institution. I know the land of LUMS was purchased by grant from US ambassador but a donor agency office in an academic institution don't make sense to me. The curriculum of LUMS is imported from Harvard and strangely mullas are hired to teach it to students (mullas are not allowed to change curriculum). Cannot make my head of it but there may be some big game going on.

Recently this university completed its 25 years, they claimed to be best in country but where is the impact created in society by its Alumini by its students? Pakistan remains one of most mis-managed countries. Can someone explain what is going on in this University?

Dunno whether there is a US-Aid office in LUMS or not but a couple (10-12) of LUMINITES are currently on an audit internship with me...none of them came across as being 'blinkered' into towing America's line or espousing their narratives; in fact they came across as perfectly normal with the very natural mix of brilliant,good, average and plain stupid ! Heck two of them jumped at my throat (proverbially !) when I said that 'how about a Secular Pakistan ?' So no...they're just like the rest of us..nothing remotely sinister or conspiratorial about it !

Yeah- sure dude there is something really bad being cooked from LUMS building against Pakistan in particular and world in general, its the centre of the big game now a days, you better think twice before opening such threads on forums like this where CIA, RAW, ISI etc operatives spend most of their job time..... beware... LUMS does not discriminate when hiring members of the faculty.They will hire you even if you are religious or atheist.

Mullahs teaching in LUMS? Is it not one of the best B-school in pakistan?

By Mullahs he means religious persons having at least PHD in a particular subject..LUMS is truly secular in a sense that they don't discriminate.LUMS Faculty Member won't be teaching the religion there so there is nothing wrong with this policy.I think OP definition of Mullah is: Anyone with a beard.

What do you mean by Mullahs teaching the students? Man with beard can be a good professor, not necessarily Mullahs teach religion, even if they teach religion whats wrong with it if they are teaching it rightly?

I dont know what to make if this except you are trying to start something, i cant put my finger on what.
on one side you have problem with LUMS being secular and on the other hand you are insulting educated people with beard as Mullahs.

at LUMS Capmus do student go thru a chamber which sprays some kind of chemicals and makes them zombies?

Program director of MBA in LUMS is a friend. I don't believe these claims are true, but I will confirm it.

Ok the purpose of the thread was not meant to be about Mullas but about the logic and sense of US-Aid office running in an academic institution. And why diplomats visit so frequently here. It is quite a serious. The curriculum of LUMS is a copy paste from Stanford and MIT. So those American institutions were very kind to this institution. Hillary paid visit to this institution on her trip. All of this when US was thinking Pakistan as its enemy in recent past. Add to this mixture the Mullas being hired (used? exploited? or something else) to teach the western curriculum. I think it is matter of interesting and thoughtful debate.

How come mullas are found in this place is another debate. Should US-Aid office exist in LUMS?

LUMS is not their target, LUMS was started by US-Aid and Syed Babar Ali is american slave and puppet, helping US in doing brainwashing of young generation. contribution of this wrongly glorified institution to society is nill.
