US, Afghan Spy Agencies Refuse to Abandon Self-Defeating Warlord Strategy

.
@Levina have a look at it madam...
Thanks for the tag.
It is obvious that the short-sighted approach has not accomplished the supposed mission of defeating the insurgency or bringing peace to Afghanistan.
Indeed. This is a very myopic approach to the Taliban issue.
Encouraging militia would spread the war from house to house, starting rivalries as everyone begins arming their own groups. This would also diminish the confidence of people in the Afghan Army. I will not be surprised if the forces themselves feel let down.
Albeit, the fact is that Afghans are taking casualties at an alarming rate. Its time Afghanistan got help from friendly countries. All the peace talks with Taliban have been in vain.

.
This is summary of Afghanistan.. Again warlords and local militias and vicious circle will continue.Better and final way is to talk with Taliban as US with ANA is unable to wipe out them completely. Accept it or not they have local support that is why they are able to survive..

.
They're enemies of muslims , they want muslims to be destroyed ,

HELL AMERICA !

Well think rationally,Do you think these warlords who are getting huge profit from that war, desire to end it.
Families of these warlords,Afghan politicians and bureaucrats are having good time in Islamabad and Peshawar, there kids are free to go into school of there choice, females are free to drive and study along with there kids running huge business entrepreneurs in UAE and Pakistan,Do you think this kind of people's will try to make a prosperous and sound Afghanistan for common Afghanis. If you ever came across a Afghani who is supporter of Afghan Taliban,he will tell you that Government of Kabul is stooge of Pakistan.
After meeting with some many Afghanis in my life I am damn sure there is no solution of there security problems in current setup, which includes Taliban,Warlords,Militias and ethnic hatred.
Taliban are no doubt a solution but it is comparable to cutting your own legs if a serpentine bites you to save your life.
There is need of solution before, there is nothing left.Taliban I doubt once US will leave and after taking over kabul, they will be around I am damn sure they day they will walk into kabul, next day they will be broken apart just like rag tag militias and this surely will be our headache forever then.

There are many Pukhtoons on this site, including me, granted my Pukhtu isn't great but zama kor Karachi da
I might sound a little too interested in Pashtuns on this site but I wrote a book that focused on pashtuns and the war on terror. I have a great interest in communicating and understanding he war on terror situation from Pakistani pashtuns eyes. Pashtuns are the biggest victims of the current terrorism situation yet are misunderstood by the rest of Pakistanis.

I have only limited pashtun links myself and even those limited links unproven. Yet I would identify more as a pashtun though we migrated from Lucknow. Nice to meet you btw. I am also a Karachite though I was born in Islamabad.

From Mullazai-Tank (dikhan) actually. My father's cousins fought along (Not for) Turkestan against TTP when TTP attacked a govt building being used by Turkestan as a staging point. TTP never came to mullazai again. My mother side is Marwat, The kidnapped my Uncle, Nadir Kham Marwat, then a wapda excien (i have no idea how to spell it :D), they let him go after getting surrounded by a chuga (search party) by villagers.
(edit) almost forgot, they once tried to blow up my Grand father's Qabar using IED (Col Sarfraz marwat, veteran of ww2. Kashmir & 65)
These are my personal stories about TTP
Ah Mullahzai is populated by Bhittani tribesmen. Glad to meet you sir.

Good to see you have a strong military history. Nice to meet you brother. The TTP have engaged in extreme tyranny in the tribal regions.

In this war a lot goes unreported. One such thing is how valiantly the various Pashtun tribes fought the Taliban despite being at a martial disadvantage. I have covered the lashkaris in my fiction book. Keep posting.

I understand Afghanistan govt's desperation, the good news is that since the 2015 disclosure of Taliban spiritual leader Mullah Omar’s death, the group is fractured.
The real solution that i see is an Afghan awakening. By voting a democratic government in,ppl of Afghanistan have kept Taliban away from ruling them again. The government's responsibility is to ensure that their forces are armed adequately, and that groups like ALP are made accountable.Creating an external complaints body to allow members of the public to report abuses, ensuring vetting of new recruits for the ALP, etc will help curb human rights abuses by such groups.
But Afghanistan needs funds to execute this, and here's where countries like America come into the picture. These are countries which would not fund anything that doesn't help their purpose. For example just how many countries with vested interest in Afghanistan helped in building a Parliament?
The plight of Afghanistan is akin to Syria...but now the world craves for something new.

.
US strategy in recent past has been to arm a group to create troubles for govt in a targeted country, then make another stronger armed group to fight the first group they created and this goes on till we get to ISIS which is now threatening the entire world...how would US now defeat ISIS by creating another stronger group..by arming them with what? since ISIS gets everything except Nukes!

Actually that's not true, that over took kunduz after his death, they took control of Musa Qila after his death, they are controlling Baghlan Highway, there presence on H1 is headach,Group is more then ever largely due to idiotic policies of Kabuli regime.

World is joke, when it comes to lives of poor nations and especially Muslims.

Atleast they do not get as much public support.

World is joke, when it comes to lives of poor nations and especially Muslims.
Is the world ignoring them because they are poor or they are muslims?
If being muslim was a factor then GCC countries like KSA and Qatar would have always been ignored.
The gist of it is, poor countries are ignored irrespective of the religion.

I have been among them and I know them very well, since 1994,Taliban were never successful taking over Badakashn Province bordering Tajikistan,a Tajik majority area but now they are roaming over there and guess that is new breed of Tajik Taliban. That speaks more then any survey.

Well,Iraq was deliberately destroyed infront of whole world, syria was destroyed by arming all factions by west,Libya is now Afghanistan of 1993.Palestine,peoples robbed of there own land and turned refugee in there own home.
Please tell me where is humanity and world. And wilth Iraq and Syria on fire,I bet the fate of Iran and KSA will be same, guess who provides Ammunition and weapons to these countries, there are quite handful of Black Market Arms dealer's and CIA knows them very well, why they can't be stopped.

.
WTF are you talking about? The same superpower started this ugly game.
That's because THEY ARE the superpower, and if someone else was then THAT country would do the same. Everyone is playing to win!
There is NO country in the world who will not come to EXPLOIT Afghanistan if they can. There is billions of dollars in drugs, and it's up for grabs.
