It's almost unbelievable how Pakistan is isolated not only regionally but also internationally. Pakistan seriously needs to revisit it's Foreign Policy immediately. The army should refrain from any kind of interference in Foreign Policy. They've time and again proved to extremely incompetent. That is not a sound response. We were weaker economically and diplomatically back in Cold war era and Still our Leaders came out of India's influence. The present GOVERNMENT doesn't care about Religious bond. India conceded sea territory to Bangladesh. That is enough reason to support them. They could behave like China in South China Sea. I have a request. Please collect Sheikh Mujib's Unfinished Memoirs and Go through it. With a neutral mind you will learn a lot. Then call him visionless. His book deserves readers in Pakistan as he was the first elected Prime minister of Pakistan.

I would agree that India has some influence over Bangladesh but not to the point people are making it here out to be.
Border killings happen and Bangladesh tries to solve the matters through diplomacy. Countries like China, Japan, Russia do invest in Bangladesh. Doesn't it alone shows you that we control our own foreign policies?

India accepted UN solution over sea dispute . Okay that might not be enough reason to support them. But that's definitely a good gesture and indication of respecting friendship.

That being said India also supported Bangladesh. After gulshan terror attack India expressed their support toward Bangladesh. That's how a mutual friendship is formed. And this help countries in so many levels. But there are always people like you who would
see it the way you want to see it.
