Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Syed Muazzem Ali talks to CNN-News18.

New Delhi
: As India mulls its options against Pakistan in the aftermath of the Uri attack, Bangladesh has said that the spirit of the 1971 Liberation War against Pakistan will remain in the relationship between New Delhi and Dhaka.

“As a freedom fighter of 1971, we fought alongside the Indians during our war of liberation, I want the spirit of 1971 to remain in our relations,” Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Syed Muazzem Ali told CNN-News18.

The Bangladesh High Commissioner also asserted that in case India decides to strike Pakistan militarily, there will be consultation at the highest political level between New Delhi and Dhaka.

“It’s a sensitive issue,” Ali said, adding, “right now it’s hypothetical, but as close neighbours and allies and friends we will act together.”

“Our PM has strongly worded Bangladesh’s position. We have zero tolerance towards terrorism. Bangladesh stands with India at this difficult hour,” Ali said.

Adding that Bangladesh will continue to work together to eradicate terrorism from this region, the high commissioner said Dhaka was waiting for Indian agencies to complete their investigation. “After they have done it, we will take it up at the highest level for consultation,” he said.

Syed Muazzem Ali is a a** kissing idiot. We don't have a dog in this fight, time to just put our feet up and watch what happens.....Pak was our old enemy, a country not of much significance to us, (except to the AL for local reasons) while india will always be the main enemy.

Isn't is great that India is not alone. She has the unconditional support of two great nations, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. :enjoy:
Hell ya!! In SAARC(also don't forget NEPAL and BHUTAN) yes.

Internationally,
FRANCE : "More than ever, we stand alongside India, France's strategic partner, to fight against this scourge,We call for decisive actions to be taken within the respect of international law against terrorist groups targeting India and in particular, Lashkar-e-Tayibba, Jaish-e-Mohammad and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen,"

GERMANY : "Germany stands firmly on the side of India in the fight against terrorism. Every country has the responsibility to take decisive action against terrorism, which emanates from its own territory,"

RUSSIA : "In view of the attack on the Indian air base at Pathankot in January this year, we note with concern the resurgence of terrorist attacks near the Line of Control. It is alarming, and according to New Delhi, the attack on military unit near the town of Uri was committed from the territory of Pakistan,"

Which people?

The Bangladesh people of course.

You mean the people who are willing to forget the slaughter carried out upon their country by Pakistani co-religionists for the sake of imaginary religious solidarity?

You mean the 56 000 killed in the 1971 war on all sides as found by the Mujib inquiry? A lot more people died in the Vietnam war but Washington and Hanoi are best of buddies now.

British Islamists.

Who could you possibly mean?

Yes, India is cash cow ready to be milked more than before. Let's provide lip service to appease the baboos in New Delhi, let the cash flow.

In the mean time, all these countries are doing business with Pakistan. A German delegation recently visited Pakistan and praised the progress made with zarb e azb.
Russia is opening up, selling weapons to Pakistan. She's building the 950km north south pipeline between Karachi and Lahore.
France is actively lobbying for the mirage 2k for PAF.

India is cash-cow blah!! blah!!. Fact is your country is 1/8th of India and 1/16th of India's economy. You will never have a economic clout over India nor in military. Jinnah should have demanded for more land, than something could have changed. :agree::agree:
P.S this is what is happening now BTW.
US lawmakers move bill to designate Pakistan as a terrorist state
