First raisi acts like he is defender of poor and takes pictures with poor families just for votes...he is even called out on it in the debates! Then he goes and befriends tataloo?? Really???? For his 4million followers? As you said if I did half the things tataloo did I would be lashed and in prison maybe worse! This monkey will do anything for power...the tataloo sitting really exposed him. People wake up! You think raisi will fight corruption and improve the economy? HE IS THE CORRUPTION. I agree, if the population at large can't see through the lies or they put minor immediate financial gains over the long term good of the country, then you can't really save them from themselves. But this time, the stakes are potentially much larger than a 4 year presidential term. So I hope they really think about it.

I voted for Raisee. I initially didn't want to cast a Ahmadenijad vote (in support of the system, but not the candidates) but decided Raisee was the best choice. But for me, it was mainly personal due to the explanation I gave before.

People come, see its a long line and come back later, but later the line is even longer because everyone does the same.

The important thing isnt who one votes for, its that we vote. The leader is completely right on this point that a strong voter participation is a slap to our enemies.

By the way, i like to think I'm politically aware but i dont vote for city councils but when i go, the majority do vote for them! I see people holding lists, or on their mobiles, or double checking the hundreds of people on the city council. Iranians are more politically engaged than other countries
