That 'tech' is more valuable than it looks. Problem with forward swept wings is that the wings load up very very quickly and shatter. There is a lot of materials science that was needed to make them strong enough to withstand the forces. But mastering it means 'super maneuvarability' is easily possible for the ruskies in any design they use.

The technology is valuable but you have to understand that the new wing designed for the T-50 PAKFA and for that matter any other 5th Gen platform is considerably different. The new designed wing not only increases the maneuverability but also is far more stronger. The 'Super Maneuverability' can be achieved from faster computers and other features like canards sizes and thrust vectoring.

Moreover the very concept of high maneuverable aircraft is being diminished by the fact that the age of dog fights is almost over. This is because of the next generation weapons and radar avoidance material has made the aerial warfare a new ball game in which the aircraft comes in behind enemy lines unseen fires from an incredible distance and leaves. By the time time the enemy realize is is under attack it is all over.

Unfortunately on PDF no one likes to refer wiki....There are many other sources from where you can get credible information and those are respected.
