Burning really- Its rather sad is what I feel- This is not the India I grew up in- It changed from what I knew India as in the past, it will change again in the future as well- Humans will evolve and so will your kind- You guys just need to go out and see the world, experience other rich cultures and religions- Diversity in thought and questioning yourself on why I am doing such things will get you started on the path of realization- Trust me, I am close to 50 now and I was like all India is the greatest- No country can be like India etc...but soon realized to take in the greatness of India and also discard the bad things about India as well.

When exactly has India ever imposed 'might is right' philosophy on its minorities. India always followed 'appeasement policy' throughout. Not even the most pro-hindu governments previously ever imposed majoritarian will on minority. Answer me, why is this special minority has all the problems in India and not other minorities?

And If we imposed majoritarian will on this community, how is it that we have 2nd largest population of said community in India. Please stop talking superficially like Rahul Gandhi does. That is the reason why people call him Pappu.

UCC is a common civil code. It applies equally for majority and minority. It's the special community that has the problem with it not the majority. I suggest you at least ask opinion on the same from your favorite forum mates. You would know how they want to segregate themselves from the majority.

India is still not imposing 'might is right'. It has just taken away the 'appeasement' policy. India just started treating them as equals. You want progress, do the work. Lets say there is a UCC which says a person can marry only one woman, and to get a divorce they have to get a whole court procedure. Every marriage has to be registered by default. Any marriage of a girl below 18 is null and void ab-initio and the husband fill face jail time. These are basic contours of UCC. Is it majoritarian? I don't think so. Will someone like @xeuss accept it? Will the secular parties accept it?
