@Sinan visited the hagia sophia in 2013 and was really impressed about the efforts you guys put into her stabilisation. Its such an important building. I´m also glad about the wisdom your leadership once had to not use it as mosque anymore. Too much political and religious explosive stuff and there is no need to pour more oil in a conflict.

Yeah, it's more of a museum now. I would prefer if it can be, it should be both a mosque and a chuch at the same time. Christians and Muslims should be able to pray in silence side by side both showing respect to each other.

In an ideal world i would agree. But i think thats impossible.

P.s. I also visited the blue mosque but had some trouble with my girlfriend there.

It may suprise you but i´m quite reasonable regarding other cultures and religions. Same can´t be said for her. Once we were in she suddenly took off her hair veil she got inside. I know she did it on purpose, she said she just needs to readjust it. But since argueing with an italian women is totally pointless i simply gave up.

IMO, you might not agree with one's culture and customs....so, you shouldn't try to enter the with mini skirt....if you can't bear it, you just should leave, no one is forcing you. Same with the mosques and all other religious places.

She didn´t wear a mini skirt. She did wear long clothes. She just did not cover her hair. But what can you do? start an argument with an italian women? Thats pointless. Beside that it was my own fault. She did not want to go into it for exactly those reasons. I basicly forced her because i said come on. We are not evry day in istanbul so come with me.

But hey we mediterraneans are pretty similar in that aspect. Saw turkish couple argue same way we did. Smiling and silently hissing at each other so nobody notice around you.

There are many in the Church of England who would welcome a reunion with Rome and Constantinopole as well. They call themselves the third branch. But there are too many liberals in the church who would prevent it with their insistence on women and homosexual clergy.

Some in the Church of England view the Catholic Church as their "mother church". They would want to become autonomous as a special branch within the RC church like the Greek Catholic Church.

Hımm, this is a little complicated for me....i understand nothing.... My knowledge about Christianity is...there is Catholics and there is Orthodox....Eastern Europe is orthodox.Western Europe is Catholic.....
