Denel Aerospace Systems Bateleur..........:chilli:

Performance

Maximum speed: 250 km/h (135 knots, 154 mph)
Range: 750 km (405 nm, 466 miles)
Service ceiling 8,000 m (26,200 ft)
Endurance: 18–24 hours

Though at present it has a maximum "action radius" of only 750 km (470 miles), a satellite datalink is being developed which will allow the Bateleur to extend its range greatly, making it suitable for missions requiring longer ranges such as maritime patrol.

The Bateleur takes off and lands conventionally, on a runway, and has retractable undercarriage. It is also completely autonomous, allowing it to take off, conduct its mission, and land all without human control being required.

Guizhou Aviation Industry Group (GAIC) WZ-2000:china:

Performance

Maximum speed: 800 km/h (432 knots, 497 mph)
Range: 2,400 km (1,300 nm, 1,490 mi)
Combat radius: 800 km ()
Service ceiling 18,000m (59,000 ft)
Endurance: 3 hours

The UAV is powered by a single WS-11 turbofan engine which sits on top of the empennage between the two V-shaped tail fins. The fins are canted at approximately 40°. The sensor package includes thermal imaging camera, synthetic aperture radar, with images transmitted via a satellite communications antenna in the nose bulge.

Pakistan Should take part in these sort of projects Apart from UAV Uqaab.....
specially in Denel Aerospace Systems Bateleur!!!!!:pakistan:

Airbus.
Would you kindly do some research and let us all know what UAVs are being built in Pakistan and which ones PA/PAF anPN are looking to buy. It would be informative and educational for all of us.
Thanks in advance

As iam not professional in this regard but as i was in SA they invited many delegates to let them know about their Defence Productions from their i saw this bird and was really impressed by it.......and its capabilities!!!!!
About our UAV's as things are very much confidential and only kept to high rankings the only thing i know is Pakistan Armed forces are trying to upgrade Uqab with MIssiles like hellfire, and for Naval purpose they may procure S-100 system or Modify Uqab for naval useage......but rite now Pakistan needs to make its Uavs production line faster.......and to upgrade Uqab with better capabilities we need to enhance our military relationship with countries like SA or Turkey....!!!!!!!

My friend the pics used in this thread are old and taken from wikipedia the defence exibitn's was not on media because it was a normal routine apart from us there were many other delegates frm countries like chile, morroco, argentina etc...even in pakistan if foreingn delegates wants to buy defence products the are allowed to see the products just wat srilanka did.......!!!!!
Even US know's our defence quality products and they also want to procure our UAV's.....because the flight of MQ-1 is highly expensive in case of shotdown by taliban they only use Mq-1 when they have sure intelligence report.......

If what you say is correct then why is Pakistan after UAVs from Germany,Italy, and other places. Should we not be inductingg our own systems in to our forces. Can you elaborate why PA/PN have adopted this policy?
Thanks in advance

.
Can these be used as UCAVs....???

.
Solid design but I don't think it has the aerodynamics of a UCAV.

Sure, but some adhoc arrangments may be done....but ooops who's going to make the FoF systems. UCAVs can be deadly if they are not accurate.

yes u r rite we do procure these products from other countries but in very small numbers so that we can see how they have managed to build such products after we buy them we study them deep inside and then that technology is further improved here and upgraded by us for our usage.....!!!!

Thank you for your response. I asked this question because Gen Tariq Majeed 's name was smeared in ***** allover the press as he was apparently pushing for theseUAVs against opposition from various sources. The argument at that stage was we arebuying systems that we ahve the capability to produce in house.
Anyways, thank ytou for your response.
