First of all, there are 4 Spanish Dialects, which one are you referring to? Because all 4 started in different part of Spain.

Second, the most commonly spoken Spanish is Castilian, it was originated from Cantabria. While it was called "Colloquial Latin" it is a different language family than Latin (in fact, Italian are closer to Latin than Spanish)

Opinion Piece is something I wrote to express my opinion, and no one can defeat my opinion because that's what I think, if I think the earth is flat, and that is the belief I carry, you can try to point it out to me that the earth is not flat, but that's for me is not debatable.

On the other hand, an article is something people written to discuss issue, supported by facts and data. I can post a question and write an article on whether or not the earth is flat, that's different than an opinion.
