Ifs and buts ... Do you want to comment on a hypothetical situation ?
India indeed is playing its cards well. Iran for example. Irrespective of US effort in Afghanistan, Iran will continue to increase its influence in Afghanistan and a Government in Iran sensitive to our issues is always a good thing to have.

Indian victory is clearly seen when Pakistan is putting everything at stake, even the relations with US just to get India out of the Afghanistan theatre. That my friend is surely Indian victory. Irrespective of the result I am completely at peace with my Government for playing the cards so well.

I don't know whose statement is hypothetical your views regarding Iran's involvement to facilitate India or when India has openly been snubbed by the Americans. Iranians don't control Afghanistan, But Americans do, so as far i know i am not the one keeping a fictional perspective on this situation, and about India using the Iranian card all i can say is its just an act of desperation to get back in game after receiving the Red card. and you didn't grasp the essence of my post, even though Americans along with allies could not maintain their reign over Afghanistan without Pakistan's help, how is India going to do that with Iran, you are ignoring the border proximity dear,and its the least of the things that Pakistan share with Afghanistan Iran has never been that influential in Afghanistan as much as Pakistan has been, and these are not based on my nationalistic dogmas rather reality.

India has its own interests and so has US. US has already made many mistakes on blinding following Indian wishes.
After US exit India want to sleeping with Saudis and Iranians both for Afghanistan but how can they keep both happy in long run. they have to put their eggs in one basket else they are not true to that nation.

Cut down numbers and accept Pakistan as more practical partners is away out to bring a national government in Kabul. Let the Shah grand son be the person to unite Afghanistan.

Reading all posts, i am getting impression as if indains r saying that india does not need Afghanistan and it is Afghanistan which needs india's help for development, and not involving india in London and Turkey conferences does not mean anything to india, and india did not lose anything in it.

First of all, international politics doesn't go like that, this is all kiddish.
Secondly, without going into the debate that what Pakistan gains or looses in this scenario one thing is for sure that a big cold war is going on in Afghanistan between Indian and Pakistan, and Pakistan will not permit india to sponsor and train terrorists from afghanistan soil, for using it in Pakistan. Now onwards Pakistan will be in the position to manipulate the policies of America and all NATO countries towards Afghanistan and Pakistan, and to some extent India for its own advantage. America sidelining india is a big victory for Pakistan in that cold war. Lets see how Pakistan and India plays its cards it future.


As far as United States sidelining India is concern, it is already evident by not involving india in major conferences, and in international politics this is a big diplomatic setback for india.

Also war going on in western borders of Pakistan by Pakistan military seems to be cooled down after America sidelining india, as now there is no way for india to continue supplying assistance to terrorists.

Hi Guys,

I do not want to give any comment neither about india's presence in AF
nor any of the issues like this.Normal citizen do not have any effect on them and believe in only "No Politics Please " like me.
