In the Indo-Pacific Strategic Plan of the United States, Bangladesh has said that the trump administration is important. It is also known that as part of the strategy, the United States is strengthening military ties with Bangladesh . After a meeting of the two military officials of the two countries on September 10, it was informed that the strong relations between the United States and Bangladesh are essential to maintain stability in the region.

In the meeting held in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Joint Chief of Staff Chief General Joseph F. Dunfried and Principal Staff Officer of Bangladesh Lieutenant General Mahfuzur Rahman took part in the meeting. After the meeting, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement that two military officials discussed how to increase bilateral military relations and cooperation between both countries.

The office of Dunford said, "Bangladesh is a key partner in South Asia. To maintain stability in the region, strong US-Bangladesh relations are essential.

The United States does not want to take any such plan, according to the United States of America's strategic strategic plan, the Trump Administration said, that the United States does not want to take any plan, which it will feel that Bangladesh has been forced to implement or impede sovereignty.

Last week the Trade and Investment Cooperation Framework Agreement (TICFA) meeting was held in the United States. The officials of both the countries pledged to strengthen trade relations in the meeting. After the meeting, an official of the US State Department told the Bengali Tribune that Bangladesh is very important to us for strategic reasons. Bangladesh's role in our Indo-Pacific plan is important,

Recalling the trump administration's policy, the US official said, "As part of the Indo-Pacific Strategy, we want to build laws based on law, where no one can take advantage of corruption or harbor the rights of workers or enjoy unfair advantage in the competition without ensuring protection of the environment. No

The official further said, this is our view of Bangladesh. We want to ensure the success of such projects keeping in mind the economic development. But the condition of the projects is that Bangladesh itself can choose itself.

Responding to a question, the US State Department official said that the United States does not want to take any such plan, which Bangladesh will feel as if it has been forced or the sovereignty has been violated.

Three days after the meeting of the military officials, on September 13, US Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Mark Lynchcht and Commerce Secretary of Bangladesh Subhashish Bose sat in Tikfa.

Commenting on the meeting, Tikfa said that the talks were 'very sincere and cooperative' and the US officials said three issues were discussed in the meeting. These are: market facilities, business environment development and workers' rights and safety in the factory.

The official said, "There is more work to do to protect the factory", the official said. He said, this matter was the most prominent in the meeting.

Trade between Bangladesh and the United States was $ 720 million in 2017 According to a US Department of State fact sheet, the US is the largest buyer in Bangladesh in textile and textile products. And Bangladesh mainly imports agricultural products and machinery from the United States, which is worth 140 million dollars. It is 63 percent more than the previous year. But still there is a trade deficit of US $ 420 million with the US.

Currently the biggest source of foreign investment in the United States is the United States. In the end of 2017, the country's direct foreign investment (FDI) was 23 percent. The US company Chevron is the single largest foreign investor company. This company extends 55 percent of gas in Bangladesh.

According to the US State Department, after the Pakistan and Afghanistan in Asia, the United States is the most cooperative of Bangladesh. The United States wants to cooperate with Bangladesh that it can increase food production, road construction, teacher training, health care and military skills.

They are trying to make Bangladesh vs Myanmar b'cuz of CMEC and China's second Gwadar. Pressuring Myanmar on Rohingya, increasing relations with Bangladesh etc.

. . . . .
Bangladesh need to enter into a strategic partnership to either US or China. Otherwise there is no hope that we will be able to buy advanced weapons at reasonable prices, specially the MRCA. I would like to prefer Bangladesh aligned with western democracies while still maintaining close economic co-operation with China. Learn from Singapore, an US ally with extensive economic relation with China.

If we have strong relationship with USA, will they sell combat aircraft in reasonable price? it will be very good then . Surely USA made combat Aircrafts will make our air force aristocratic .

China cannot be trusted anymore and has betrayed BD over Rohingya. Also BD does not want to alienate the US and Japan by being too close to China.

US price of any partnership will be too high like a USN Naval Base in BD.

BD can buy weapons from Russia, China and the EU with ease and just needs to spend the money to obtain aircraft. Even at current levels of defence spending, the high GDP growth will allow a lot of choice when buying planes - BD can afford SU-30SME/J-10C and Gripen E now and even more choice 5-10 years down the line as the economy will be a lot larger then.

Well spoken.:-)

------ and our country will go bankrupt.
Well what if USA sell it to cheap price for strategic relationship ? I have almost no idea about combat aircraft . Just read some aircraft price from Wikipedia.
And I am not talking about raptor 22, but talking about f 16.
Aren't they still good aircrafts with reasonable price compared to others?
