Sir G, beginning of any such projects to utilise maximum local tech will be difficult to meet 100% safety standards. There will always be a room for improvement but at least local knowledge/know how will improve and revive the future of such industry in Pakistan.

LAHORE – Pakistan’s second-largest motorcycle manufacturer, United Motors is all set to launch an 800cc hatchback car and a 1000cc pickup truck in Pakistan.

United Auto’s 800cc ‘Bravo’ images surfaced on social media; it is equipped with all features including power windows, infotainment unit, digital speedometer cluster, rear parking camera and more.

I got to know that this car is going to be priced 0.6 million in Pakistan and if it is true than it will kill Suzuki Mehran in Pakistan.

But it’s 1000cc... so likely going to be like the old Datsun UTE sort of a vehicle.. or Maybe a long chassis Suzuki potohar/samurai.

These would fail car quality and safety check world wide

The size of the rear 'UNITED BRAVO' badges is ridiculous. Why can't they make them a bit smaller to look good compared to the car. Also why copy the ford logo?

Even then it's not going to kill mehran untill United flushes this car's cheep parts into the market.

This is good. 800 and 1000 CC vehicle are moving in the same direction as the 70 and 100CC motorcycles. It will become a cottage industry sourcing from vendors and assembling essentially the same generic product but under different brands. Great for the lower end of the market
