PARIS (Reuters) - UNESCO said on Monday that the United States has signed treaties committing it not to harm cultural heritage in the event of armed conflict.

U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday stood by his threat to go after Iranian cultural sites, warning of a “major retaliation” if Iran strikes back for the killing of one of its top military commanders.

The U.N. cultural body said that under provisions of the 1954 and 1972 conventions - which have been ratified by both the United States and Iran - signatory states undertake not to take any deliberate measures which might damage cultural and natural heritage on the territory of other states party to those conventions.

US hardly follow International Laws, cause they are the ones who makes these laws ..

Both india and USA are ruled by lunatic leadership. Both countries decided not to vote for seasoned politicians who properly follow protocols. The result is a mess. They hoped for someone to come from the masses and take their countries to new heights but failed.

The article said after NATO meeting their was no objection of hitting cultural sites among NATO members. Now question becomes should Pakistan follow international laws, because seems they are pointless to have if none can be held to a certain standard the powerful and week. I have said it before the ink isn't worth the paper its written on.

The US has already dumped UNESCO several years ago and stopped all their funding when they recognised Palestine as a full member.

Raise your hand if you believe the US gives a toss about international law. Anyone? No?

LOL@ UNESCO

Laws are for the weak.
The US does not have to follow any laws, and they don't.

If Imam Razas shrine is attacked, I shudder to think of the consequences.
