Emmm, what about india image? A report on previous page showing concern on Your nuclear power plants.

Regarding The report we are discussing, IAEA has inspected and checked Technically, that's why they declared KANNUP save. Is the report we are talking about showed any technical data other than The plant has outlived it's expected live and sitting on Seismic region, which will make them dangerous?

Seismic threat is a moderate one. All the nuclear plants are designed to be earthquake tolerant as well. IAEA has considered and checked all these parameters and are not like arm chair generals. who like to boast pessimistic picture of every scenario.

I doubt the reason why PAEC loves Kanupp has anything to do with producing power. Pakistan's advanced nuclear bombs are all plutonium-fueled. That plutonium has to have a source, and ZAB boasted in the mid-70s that PAEC was reprocessing waste to obtain it. That waste could only come from Kanupp, right?

After thirty years I imagine PAEC is quite used to the process, but a new design or larger reactor might create difficulties. Hence the desire to keep Kanupp running no matter what. When have Pakistani generals ever shown concern about civilian or military casualties if the prospect of gaining or expanding State power - and their own personal prestige - was in sight?

Once again jumped like a joker who turns the serious situation in to a funny one. Did you know, KANUUP is civilian plant under the control of IAEA and we get Plutonium from a 50 MW Plant situated in Khushabb.?

Mr.Ignorant,First do your search about from where Pakistan get it's Plutonium, then we will have further discussions and rest of rants of yours about Pak army are so useless and absurd and stupid, because the point on which you are bashing them, is fake (a habit of yours to make eloquent fake arguments), as we don't use kanuup to get our plutonium.

i am living 180 km from the biggest nuclear reactor to come up in jaitapur... We havent had earthquake here since ages... i asked my grandfather ;)

What about karachi? earth quake hadn't occured here since ages, so does where Chahsma Nuclear Plant (situated). also same situation in Kushaab. It proves my point which i made in post number 27.And thanks to all Indians for showing concern. Your further concerns will just be "typical concerns".

what about India's image? that very post you elude to has I believe several Indians showing concern and not going on w/ what about Pakistan , what about china or deflecting it on other countries.

re: your IAEA assurance. they gave us that assurance on Iran too and in this article itself it says IAEA does not have access to all aspects of a plant or its issues.
He says that the plant is only superficially monitored by the International Atomic Energy Agency, who "do not have the capacity to look at everything important in a reactor".
