Uncle Sam may be indirectly funding religious conversion in India

Plz dont blame the church, they r ordained by god to show people the light. And yes any other religion trying to convert christians is such a sinful act. Converting to christianity has never been under duress, spain is a shining example.

Uncle Sam is not doing it. But maybe NGOs. It's a barbaric system to imply that someone is born as inferior such as the caste system. The caste system need to be eliminated.

Caste system is bad and needs to be eliminated. But if you think that converting to Abrahamic religions is helping eradicate Casteism, then you simply don't know anything about India's complex society!

Contrary to what total novices like you and others think here, Caste system in India is social in nature - not religious!

Right! Is it some kind of a contest of who has more faith in his religion? Because if you think it is, there is not even a contest! It is a very well-oiled proselytization MACHINERY backed up by your financial MIGHT against the ignorant, poor Indian Hindus!

But more important questions is - why do you feel compelled to convert others? Why not just keep your religion to your home and let others do the same with their religion or lack thereof? And, do you know how people are 'convinced' to change their religions in India? Did you even watch the video mentioned in the link?

Are you one of those who think that converting to Abrahamic religions - that have failed spectacularly in their own places of origin to bring bring peace - is the solution to the problems that these hapless Hindus face on a daily basis?

Yeah, right! Indians need to be taught the progressive paths followed by Abrahamic faiths that enslaved entire colonies from Asia/Africa/Americas to make them work in Cotton/Sugar farms en masse -- all with the 'express' approval of the CHURCH!

The answer to how good these new religions are, can be found by simply glancing at the conflicts in Middle East! Show me a patch of land in Middle East that is not ravaged by 'these' religions!

The solution to many of the conflicts that man-kind faces today is not 'more and more' religion, but less religion and more science - most certainly not the religions which failed so miserably to bring peace to the people, where these religions originated!

Mate, I have a feeling that your sarcasm is being lost on others here who aren't aware of your style of commenting.

That's kind of the whole point you know ;)

I doubt it. even Christianity has it's nut ball extreme pastors and members.

9 times out of 10 they are out for power and money.

Doubt what? I would argue that 'Christianity' (after 'Islam') has more than its fair share of nut ball extremes simply because the 'Christian' West is more affluent and can afford such missions in 'darkest' parts of the world - a la India!

The kind of opposition these 'nut ball' extremes mobilized against "STEM CELL Research" and succeeded too is a disgrace to any modern society which was built on secular principles! But then again they have the gall to go around third world countries to preach to the ignorant/innocent how progressive, the path they are about to embark really is!

This is such a sad case. Even for Indians that left Hinduism. There is a saying in America. "You can take a girl out of a trailer, but you can't take the trailer out of the girl." I'm sure India also have similar saying

Then again, your total ignorance about such matters has never stopped you from commenting on any subject remotely Indian, has it?
