There have been no hindu terror attacks in west or inside pakistan, there is a small % of hardcore hindu fundies who want a hindu rashtra state but they are a minority and not a threat to secular India.

Nothing, I mean, NOTHING good is going to come out of letting foreign powers get too involved in the disputes of the sub-continent. They come from far-away with their own interests in mind. They try different things. If it works for them, then good. If it does not then pack up and leave (look at the way Iraq was treated as a glaring example).
American political system is too beholden to lobbies. While AIPAC, AARP are amongst the most talked about but, beyond quoting Eisenheur's farewell speech , there is not enough analysis of how deep, how pernicious, how malignant, how powerful the Military Industrial Complex really is.

Pakistan and India can do no wrong if they categorically reject all foriegn intervention in the sub-continent and work on solving or at least shelving some problems.
