Uncle Sam can't beat out the Chinese in Myanmar

I meant South East and East Asia and I am aware about the bases in Korea and Japan, have been to at least one of these bases.

The use facilities don't count, they are not real bases (deep blue):

well depends on interpretations my friend

actually in Singapore and Australia, the usa has this deployment irrespective of their military number there:

sir if GOI sees that happenin then it wont waste a minute giving one its airbase to the USA

Even a US base will not make a difference in a few decades time, if 50 million people want liberation and countries around it help them, specially China and Myanmar, with whom India has very little leverage, while Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh stay neutral under Chinese influence.

Kashmir valley has only 7 million population and it needed 700,000 armed forces to pacify them and Kashmir valley is not surrounded by all sides by hostile or potentially hostile or totally neutral foreign nations, connected by a 14 mile wide chicken neck. The biggest strength of Kashmir is the disputed status, while this is not the case in North East states. But even bigger strength of North East states is their large population and its lack of geographic connection with main land India.

If and when China decides to help this population, if the population really want their independence, then it will be a catastrophe for India as a state.

Australia they will always protect, it is an extension of the West and I and many others do not consider ANZ/Oceania as part of Asia.

As for Singapore, it is a special case of a small insecure city state nation that wants protection against bigger neighbors, I think, if I am not wrong. With future ASEAN integration, their threat perception from neighbors will reduce, I am hoping.

Malaysia - Singapore's immediate security threat in the region
Second, currying favour with the yanks helps Singaporeans to gain other benefits, one of those is economics and business

You do know the Malaysian Prime Minister agreed for Singapore to get kicked out of the Malaysian Union? Malaysia is not a security threat to Singapore. The blathering Anglicized idiot Lee played up the security threats and unnecessary conscription in order to maintain the appearance of a paternalistic state. Lee and his son are western allies and thoroughly anglicized. Don't get fooled because Lee is ethnic Chinese. Look at Singaporean culture and the way they run their state, its got nothing to do with Chinese culture. The so called "asian paternalism" of Lee is just the way the British ran Singapore as a colony.

I know Lee is an arse. He is a manufactured iconic politician show-casing by the west to the world. But Malaysia is Singapore's biggest "threat". To this I am pretty sure!

Singapore left Malaysia because of Malaya Chauvinism, otherwise Singapore's Chinese and Indian would have be treated second class under bumiputera laws. Islam is also the state of Malaysia while majority in Singapore are not Muslims.

you just fantasize your theorie, the more powerfull China in term economy, the more grip we will have especially when come to investments, not matter what regime install in Myanmare, money is crucial for economy development of a country, as french said "L'argent n'a pas d'odeur", money don't smell...everyone love it...so only your Indian bollywood dream to see China will lose competition to India.

Has China Lost Myanmar? - By Yun Sun | Foreign Policy

actually,China enjoyed their superiority in Mayanmar as they were under economic sanction..but as other countries are pouring inside Mayanmar to do business,China looses its "One and Only" ally stamp, with their "Only Economic Partner" title as well..now,Business in Mayanmar may flourish, but Mayanmar is slowly pivoting against china as their support for various rebel groups..

Yet even as Myanmar rebalances its foreign policy, it’s unlikely to fully snub Beijing given China’s proximity, growing international clout and the nations’ historical relationship, analysts said. Though the Myitsone development was suspended, for instance, it wasn’t canceled, and numerous other Chinese oil, gas, pipeline and resource projects continue apace.

“The Burmese are very keen to get out of the embrace of the Chinese,” said Morten Pedersen, a senior lecturer with the Australian Defense Force Academy. “Myanmar was angry with the sanctions, but it was never anti-Western. They have a traditional view of autonomy and saw they were losing that.”
