Make the punishment appropriate and nobody will touch pigs.

why Punish ? if people still eat while Allah banned it, than what punishment will do ? i think if someone wants to eat Pig , let them .. hopefully some of them eat Altaf , Nawaz and Zardari as they are no less than pigs

Should we unban pork in Pakistan? To give minorities some freedom. We all know how beef is banned in almost all parts of India. Would it be okay if we follow the opposite suit of India? To show the world that Pakistan is a democratic and egalitarian authority.

If so, should pork only be sold in separate restaurants and shops away from the Zabihah halal meats?

If not, should we make minorites' national holidays for work and school?

My opinion: BAN IT EVERYWHERE FOREVER. BUT ALLOW THE HUNTING OF BOARS FOR NON-MUSLIMS FOOD.

Non-Muslims are free to hunt and eat them.

I never realised it was banned. It's an odd thing to legislate really. Alcohol, drugs, tobacco even cause societal and physical harm. Pork doesn't, it's haram to consume, like dog or donkey etc.

I think there should be legislation to make it a criminal offence to sell non halal meat as halal, also all non halal meat should be clearly marked as such when its sold.

Other than that let non Muslims eat whatever they like.

you can , you are free to do so .. but this to remind you that you cant force someone into submission , or force someone to do something which they don't want to do .. if God fear does not stop someone from eating pork, than few lashes will make things worse ..

it doesn't , Islam and Shariah are two separate things .. but that is not the Topic , the topic is that Pork should not be banned for minorities as they have no such rules to eat it, they are as much as Pakistani's as we are, and their rights are and should be well protected just like our Prophet did in Medina ..
Forcing someone or beating someone ( muslim ) for eating pork is wrong , what if a Non Muslim start eating Halal ? would you lash him too ?
