So are you comparing the right of recognition of faith/religion over discriminatory clauses in the constitution that does not to some high school issue ? According to your constitution Sikhs and Buddhists have no discourse in your law.. Like hell that's democracy.. Utter gobshyte

I am from a town in Lucknow and being from a minority religion I have noted the discrimination. Even with all the problems, including being kicked out of our own land, constantly abused for being a minority and the belief that despite severe discrimination in all fields we were benefitting... Muslims are better off. Sikhs and Buddhists aren't even accepted as a separate minority but lumped as Hindus. This is not just discriminatory but difficulty inducing.

Every community should be ruled by its own laws. India claims to be a secular state but it has never gone so far and introduced secularism in spirit as to be accepted as such. It continues to to perpetrate tyranny on its people including but not limited to Kashmiris and Lucknowis. We will never accept ourselves as Indian citizens. We are unique and were bullied into being a part of India.

Buddhism is a branch of Hinduism and that is a fact. Buddha being one of the Vishnu Dasha avatar.

Similar to how sikhism is a vaishnava branch of Hinduism.
