UN rights boss signals she may move on Xinjiang without China nod

There is genocide against rohingya in Burma. There were lots of images and refugee camps. It’s an evidence of genocide against an ethnic group.

where are the similar images or refugee camps around Xinjiang, China. If China is committing genocide against Uighers like how Burma is committing genocide against Rohingyas, you should see the pictures of refugees and genocide images. But there are no Uighers running away except the few that works for NED. And the only images or satellite of buildings or Uigher prisoners in a prison. There are prison pictures in every country. This is clearly as real as Iraqi WDM.

Look at facts, people. Never against would America be deceived to wage another war by CIA and the military industrial complex.

two wrongs don’t make a right

Chang has refused entry of the human rights commissioner from the United Nations 27 times to Northern China

Lol.. We have rules for this mega-thread because at times they were spamming 100s of them irrelevant allover the place. It is honestly myth and we are not dumb there is strong politcal element behind it but that is not why I am against I see it as fake but that is not either why I am against it but due to the forum rules.. There is clearly a mega-thread for it and feel free to go there

If this OP guy repeatedly opens independent Xinjiang related threads without putting all of them into that Xinjiang mega thread every single day without any problems with the mods, I'll deem that it's ok for me to do the same, but whenever I do this I'll get banned right away but this PDF think tank analyst can do it without any harm done to him. I'm actually for open discussion for Xinjiang, putting all the posts in one mega Xinjiang thread is not a good way for a good dicussion.

When has China allowed people to verify anything independently ?

There are tons of videos and vlogs posted by foreign expats living in China on youtube, go and check them out, they post everything about China independently, quite opposite to your "independent" western reports reported about China thousands of miles away from China. Go and check out something that the western media will never ever report and let you know about real China.

I think there are some unfair measures here. I hope here can be a place to put everybody on same treatment.

Chinese state sponsored vlogs and blogs are not considered a credible source of information are you serious ?

does Chinese have free and independent press? do they have the freedom like other countries

can a journalist in China speak and criticise the Chinese leaders and call Xi Jingping a camel?

can you talk about the Tiananmen squared massacre of the Ughur Genocide?

in Pakistan we wipe the floor with our leaders

in UK we clean the toilets with their head

and as British-Pakistan you can image the level of treatment we give our leaders

leaders are answerable to the people, they serve the people they always eat last

does any of this make any sense to you

Either China let the international community in to document what has been going on in Xingjing or some countries will have to take action

  • Summary
  • Bachelet has sought access to Xinjiang for nearly 3 years
  • Says her office is assessing alleged abuses while negotiating
  • Has previously initiated probes without a country's invitation
  • "It is time for her to act," says Ken Roth, Human Rights Watch
GENEVA, June 25 (Reuters) - The United Nations human rights chief should document her own findings on the plight of Uyghurs in Xinjiang even without China's blessing for a visit, activists and Western diplomats say, amid signs that her patience may be running out.
Michelle Bachelet, U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, said on Monday that she hoped to agree on terms for a long-sought visit to China this year to look into allegations of mass detention, torture and forced labour. read more
Beijing denies all allegations of abuse of Uyghurs and other Turkic Muslims, describing camps in its far west as vocational training facilities to combat religious extremism.
Canada led a record 45 countries, including the United States, in urging China on Tuesday to allow Bachelet immediate access to Xinjiang for a first-hand assessment. read more

China rejected the statement as interference driven by "political motives". It said it welcomed a visit by Bachelet, but that it should be focused on "promoting exchanges and cooperation rather than an investigation based on so-called presumption of guilt".
Bachelet later dropped a hint to the Human Rights Council that she has other options, while still pursuing negotiations with China on a visit that have dragged on since September 2018.
"In the meantime, the office continues to deepen its analysis and assessment of the alleged patterns of human rights violations in Xinjiang," she said on Tuesday.
Bachelet has the authority to collect testimonies of abuses remotely, without a mandate from the council or invitation from the country concerned. She and a predecessor initiated such probes on killings by security forces in Venezuela, the disputed Kashmir territory and southeastern Turkey.

"There is no formal U.N. assessment of what is happening in Xinjiang and we need that given Beijing's denial," Kenneth Roth, head of Human Rights Watch, told reporters last week.
Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International this year documented what they said could constitute crimes against humanity being committed in Xinjiang.
Sarah Brooks, China expert at the International Service for Human Rights, said: "All that remains is for High Commissioner Bachelet to step up - China's cooperation must not be misinterpreted as a precondition to doing her job."

Arrest her and throw her into the jail. Send your UK carrier to rescue her, dare you? LOL
