The US needs to prop up India against China's growing influence in the region, so it allows its state sponsorship of terrorism and other ugly truths to be glossed over in the international media. This is why international/Western support for anything that benefits China (i.e. a blow to India) will be hard to come by...

The West is just the most powerful imperial power --- its double standards, human rights abuses, etc., are just about as bad as any developing country. The civilian toll of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq greatly overshadow those killed by terrorist attacks.

The Indians like to think that they have achieved something in Occupied J&K; talking to a very experienced ISI operative a few years ago, it seemed the opposite is true --- the insurgency has achieved the bogging down of a huge number of Indian troops that would have otherwise been available for an invasion via Punjab, etc. This is a seldom understood objective.

Additionally, we must understand that Kashmir, under the UN, is a disputed territory. And any and all disputed territories deserve the right to self-determination. If Indian claims that "only a few hundred" people in Kashmir hate India are true, what does India have to fear? The only solution is a plebiscite under UN watchdogs. Living under Illegal Occupation is a travesty no people should experience.

Why would he, when Sushma Swaraj will represent India, unlike Pakistan who don't need any foriegn minister, India did have ones and did you forgot the Sushma Swaraj statement about the 4 points of N.S in earlier UN meeting, when she called for just one -- leave the terrorism, and talk.

Can you answer some :-

1. Why did N.S refuses to answer any question about Uri attack or kashmir, to Indian Media, or any statement for condolense of the soldiers died serving Indian cause in Uri attack.

2. Why did Sartaz Aziz even didn't came out of his car after seeing the media.

3. Do you agree with the NS coment about the Burhan wani, that he was Peaceful activist, opposing peacefully.

No one expected help. The world now knows Kashmir issue is live again. There will be conflicts, smaller or larger like the one going on right now. And in these, things will get heated up, close to the nuke thresholds. That is when the entire globe will put their boots up some rears to let the Kashmir issue be solved.

No one from the US wants their trillions of dollars invested in India to do to permanent waste. No one also wants to see over 200-300 million people dead, so this was a warning. Not a cry for help. If the Pakistanis needed help, going directly to the US would've been a much better option. The UN's in Donald Trump's words is "pure stupid, we need to get out of it and do what we need done". So I hope this clarifies this for you the trust that everyone has in UN. UN to me, seeing the history is a riot control organization for places like Somalia, etc.

It is a good platform to talk about events that can destroy half the world......raising this issue about Kashmir and saying "there will be no peace between India and Pakistan, until the Kashmir issue is solved". Which part of this statement seems like a cry for help? This is a warning from one nuke power to another. So sooner or later, it will be taken seriously and until its done, this issue will come up.This is called real diplomacy that you obviously didn't understand.
