Yes, Kashmir heating up is not being ruled out WHEN (not IF) there is a Pal state. But I think India-Pakistan differences over Kashmir are far less than the Israeli-Pal differences in the Middle East.

Jade in the past when people have mediated and attemted to resolve the issue Israel has listened until they dont like what you are saying and ultimately (due to the US $) they go their own way. If we united and show them that the world is united in resolving the issue then it would certainly put pressure on them

India is a large country with a large population they can decide for themselves what’s best for their nation.
Friend ship with Israel, with Arabs or balance in between, is entirely up to them..

This is not true. I can't say about all Indian but there are many Indians (majority) like me who supports Israel. We have very good relations and we can rely on Israel vis-a-vis many countries. It's not only about defence but general people have positive bias towards Israel. Jews feel like Home in India.Although we have good relation with most of the Muslim majority country but Israel ranks at Top and above all middle-east countries. We should maintain good relation with all countries but should not compromise even a bit with Israel.

If I have to choose between Israel and Palestine. I won't even think. Muslim countries have right to support Palestine but it doesn't mean 80% of the world will do the same. Israel or Palestine or neutral, I will go for Israel on any day !!

As of now, about 2/3rd of the world is out to support a Pal state via the UNGA vote. I'd say that's a large number! And IF American pressure is removed from the others--especially the EU countries--then perhaps over 90% would support a Pal state.

Of course India has the right to not vote against it; but in the UNGA--where EVEN Americans would rather not vote against--Indian vote carries just as much/as little weight as, say, the Marshall Islands.

India will vote for the Pal state in the UNGA. And Israelis would fully understand that.

Islam is not what you cant trust. Its people that you cant trust. Not all countries are the same.
Some Israelis want to wipe all muslims off the face of the earth. You get extremism everywhere.
If we have the philosophy that because of a persons religion one cannot trust people then we will never achieve goals.
The world is a great big melting pot and it takes all sorts to make the perfect recipe.
I sense the rejection of Islam in your post. I will respect your opinion but just remember its naive to tarnish millions of people with the same brush.

I think you misunderstood me sir, i was talking about the Indians and the Pakistani members who brought up the Indian-Pakistani conflict with India recognizing a Palestinian state... All i am saying that it is a seperate situation. India was a ally to Egypt during the 60's and 70's, and the helped Egypt, as well as Pakistan. With both countries being in a war against eachother, it still didn't prevent both of them from helping Egypt and being an ally with it..... My father, who is an Ex pilot in the EGyptian army, had both Indian, and Pakistani instructors when he was in studying to and training to become a pilot.

I don't think they are trying to create a rift between us, its just emotions by both sides. I have read some Indians posts that doesn't want their country to support a Palestinian state because they are Muslims just like the Pakistanis, its little immature from both sides.... It is a whole diff. conflict in my mind
