Just to add to what @Jaanbaz said, why don't the Indians ask the Azad Kashmiris in the U.K their opinion of joining with India? The Azad Kashmiris are more patriotic and anti Indian than Pakistanis of other provinces in my personal experience.

Yar Pakistan should invite the U.N and the international community and hold a referendum under their observation. That will definitely negate the Indian point of view they try to take when anyone mentions the plebiscite.
