UN double snub to India, on Africa & Pak

.
How can we expect such immature media to question its own establishment on IOK issues like pellet guns or AFSPA or missing persons? Indian media is a disgrace to journalism. It is not patriotism or nationalism when you act as a mouthpiece of establishment on every lie it wants you to say. That is not journalism. That is Indian journalism.

These 4-5 chaps are leaders of Indian electronic media. There might be one or two who might be different but they are a small minority in Indian media today.

So you think you know more about our own media then us?? I don't know who told you that these 4-5 chaps are leaders of electronic media...Let me share some names

Rajdeep Sardesai
Barkha Dutt
Rana Ayyub
Karan Thapar
Siddarth Varadrajan
Sagrika Ghose
Veer Sanghvi

I am restricting myself to English media for obvious reasons and have missed many names..... now check the TRP that these chaps and the channels carry...so stop making stupid claims like those 4-5 people are leaders of electronic India...To be honest the root of the problem is that you guys don't even understand how magnamius Indian media is..You need to understand we are very diverse and media houses are also going to show that diversity...there are some media houses that are left leaning, some are right leaning and some are right there in center...but saying our media is somewhat less professional than yours is outright idiotic..because if you wan't to compare you can't cherry pick some and leave others...Here is some comparison...

https://rsf.org/en/ranking

Though we are slightly better than you yet nothing to boast about...as compared to others we both are pathetic in Press Freedom.....

Also just for records your biased views are actually a joke...The amount of discussion that we have on AFSPA/Pellet Guns/Missing person/human rights abuse is crazy...In fact real guns were replaced by Pellets...and now another alternative is being found just because of the extensive coverage of Media....however that doesn't mean Media will start harping your POV....I am not sure how much your media is covering human rights issue in your WOT...you would know better than me...though i heard that your Army magically kill about 100+ terrorists right after a major terrorist attack in one single day...fishy indeed!!....I am sure like our pellet guns your fighter jets are also not differentiating b/w evil and innocent..... :disagree:

Anyways here bunch of students sitting in JNU(Delhi Uni) can make the most offensive possible slogans against the unity of country and yet get the support of media when Govt. try to bulldoze them...because at the end of the day "Freedom of Speech" needs to be respected....this may sound unprofessional/licking establishment a$$ to you however sane minds will like to differ...As said earlier i don't follow much of your media however their coverage on some fake wikileaks was a disgrace...but then sh1t happens...I am sure most of the time they get it right....peace...

All the names you mentioned are the most hated names in Indian society. Poor guys get tonnes of hate everyday just because they stray a little bit from the line given to them by Indian establishment. That Rana ayyub gets rape threats daily even though her criticism is mostly limited to BJP government and not crimes of Indian military in IOK. These guys are normal journalists and not a big critic of Indian establishment.

Among all the names you mentioned, no one come anywhere close to likes of Hamid Mir, Asma Jahangir, Najam Sethi, Raza Rumi etc etc.

Indian media mostly justifies crimes of Indian establishment in IOK and it includes pellet guns. There is no real plan to replace pellet guns and there is no real pressure either. Pellet guns are still used today and would continued to be used even in future too. As for Pakistani WOT. Pakistani jets mostly pound areas which have very low civilian population since in most cases population has already migrated to other regions of the country. In any case we regret any civilian death in those bombings since they are our own people unlike people of IOK who are very much your enemy and a military target. As for JNU. Poor guys have already been crushed systematically. That guy Najeeb Ahmed is missing since past many months. Your media played doctored videos to implicate JNU leftist students just to please your establishment.

You can still keep claiming that your media is free and not a disgrace to journalism. It won't change the fact that your media is full of filth.
