The problem I have is that Canada mostly white washes it's bloody history.
I love my country, but that doesn't mean I should close my eyes and pretend nothing happened.
And yes, I do agree that Canada is become much more tolerant, but there are still so much discrimination against Aboriginals.
For example, a local Native group had to go to court and fight for 2 years to prevent a burial ground from becoming condos.
What kind of respect is that? How would you feel if they built an ice rink on your grave, or your parents grave?
I also despise our government for talking out of it's @ss about human rights after how they treated the Aboriginals. Oh and let's not forget the Aboriginal rights treated that they forced the UN to cancel.

They get subsidized education and job preference over everybody while our students are struggling to find jobs to pay their student loans. i will not repeat my request for all white pigs to commit suicide, but will you relinquish your political dominance in canada? you killers took away everything from the natives - their land, their political sovereignty, their means of livelihood - and then have the audacity to demand their gratitude for giving out petty gifts to them? while a politically independent people, the natives never asked white pigs to come and subsidize them, much less to massacre them. there is no amount of tax breaks or credit (what kind of arrogant *** would plaster over genocidal crimes with words like "subsidies") that can right that kind of wrong.
