Umayyad invasion of Sindh and the arrival of Islam

Islam arrived in the area now known as Pakistan in 711 CE, when the Umayyad dynasty sent a Muslim Arab army led by Muhammad bin Qasim against the ruler of Sindh, Raja Dahir, this was due to the fact that Raja Dahir had given refuge to numerous Zorostrian Princes who had fled the Islamic conquest of Iran. Mohummad Bin Qasim's army was defeated in his first thee attempts. The Muslim army conquered the northwestern part of Indus Valley from Kashmir to the Arabian Sea. The arrival of the Arab Muslims to the provinces of Sindh and Punjab, along with subsequent Muslim dynasties, set the stage for the religious boundaries of South Asia that would lead to the development of the modern state of Pakistan as well as forming the foundation for Islamic rule which quickly spread across much of South Asia. Following the rule of various Islamic.

Mohammed bin Qasim invaded Sindh to secure a profitable trade route to Far East through the hostile, Brahminite kingdom of Dahir Sen. He carried out barbaric massacre of Brahmin Hindus and looted Hindu Temples. It is ironic that such a personality is associated with "arrival of Islam".

Islam spread in india due to the Sufi saints and their preaching. Not because of Umayyad barbarians who also massacred Prophet Mohammed's family.

. . . . . .
Pakistanis are probably the only people in the world who celebrate and eulogize invaders, looters and pillagers of their ancestors.

Arrival of Islam might have been great for them but the way it arrived? Yeah right!

Well no one cares about "arrival" of Islam. Invaders didn't come to "spread Islam" ... They came for their own purposes. Islam spreaded in India due to peaceful Sufi Saints... Islam taught Indians how to see each and every human as "equal" , not on the basis of some stupid caste system of them...Indians who were peaceful , dignified people (our ancestors) converted to Islam and started seeing everyone as equal. Gave women their rights and didn't burn them alive due to the death of their husband etc ... Elite hindus , that exploited the society and divided them into "lower caste" remain hindus (your ancestors) and kept exploiting Hindus uptil recently. Even now there are "untouchables" in your country , isn't it? :azn:

who denies we don't have a caste system but you people have an equally rigid caste system your society is equally divided.

culture is not a piece of bread. our culture as we see it has evolved on our own land and not enforced on us like yours.

Before talking about caste system in India, I would like to see people here actually consider all his fellow Muslims as Muslims and not infidel Kafirs eg. Ahmedi, Shiia, Sunni, Sufi etc.

Muhammad bin Qasim himself was put to death by the Caliph, by suffocation in oxen hides. The reason was that the Caliph wanted to be the first to rape the daughters of Raja Dahir, but bin Qasim had actually raped them before the Caliph. This disobedience of bin Qasim filled the Caliph with rage.

Muhammad bin Qasim's successors were smashed by the Rajputs in the battle of Rajasthan. (Battle of Rajasthan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). In the words of the Arab chronicler Suleiman, “a place of refuge to which the Muslims might flee was not to be found.”

Finally, it was the invasions of the Turks from the North 300 years later, which succeeded in converting the ancestors of the Pakistanis.
