ULFA slams Bangladeshis

ULFA is a pawn of BD and will remain so in the forseeble future.....

Just like your government is ours. Brilliant plan to have embedded Hasina, now to buy up Khaleda..think she's going to cost more than Hasina? One thinks not given the proclivities of BDians. Who dries up their own river to provide transit to another nation? Every single ULFA leader in hand except Barua sahib and his cohort of 40. :D

Next time try and shelter proxies who don't surrender.

. .
Epic ...... :rofl::rofl::rofl:

The truth always is. Khaleda sings more to the tune of the yanks than to that of our brethren up north and the yanks are in our pocket atm..and will be till their "pivot" fructifies. Although she will have a hard time prostrating in front of the EU every time the yanks will yank their chain through Merkel or her successor. Now that will be a sight to behold. :D

Bangladesh and bangladeshis are friends of ULFA, and there is no Bangladeshis in Assam. They are all Assamese Muslims.

Seems like they don't reciprocate your friendship..not as long as they know that they can share power in a political process. :D

Do you know how many times we've had to intervene to stop the Karbi/Bodo/other Assamese people from slaughtering these "Assamese Muslims"? Just last year they up and killed a 100 or so.

I am thinking once they settle down and formally surrender we'll send them over to express their "friendship".

You people are openly supporting Terror and separatist group and expect Indians to do favor. May be India should be careful with bangladesh.

About as careful as you are around a snail. BDians verbally supporting insurgents, specially insurgents which have pretty much surrendered is as much of a threat as a hound baying away.

As @Skull and Bones would put it..glow in the dark hilsa.

Besides east-watch seems to not have read the article..comprehension isn't their strong suite..he's supporting a group which has already laid down its arms and dropped its demands- except for kicking out and/or liquidating illegal BD momins.:omghaha: Something which I would like to oblige them for gladly.:)

Yes yes, the grand old we'll conquer you scheme..let them first learn how to desalinize sea water..they'll need it.

But your ULFA friends don't think so .

You can repeat your lies a hundred times but it is not going to fool anybody .

As soon as we get a Govt. with backbone , which we will in 2014 , expect a sudden rise in your population.

Ah I see. State legitimacy is indeed important.

Support Xinjiang? Not wise..unless you want all the fancy Hq-9s to evaporate.

No need to kill the ULFA any more- 3 more groups out of 20 left- good score no, 17 out of 20?

Illegal immigration is not your problem, hmm..interesting..when a state takes such a stance can it fault the other concerned state when it does not consider the problems of the first state as "our problem" either..for the sake of intellectual honesty how can BD expect us to care for water issues and border issues if our own legitimate concerns are not considered important? The transit fiasco will cost us a decade of lost time till the Kalaadan project comes online- then it will cheaper than direct transit though BD and allow the movement of greater bulk cumulatively in a shorter time period- but till then we will still have to make do. Are you sure that it is just India which does not listen to BD's concerns..or is it a mutual thing?

Killing them as in destroying the Shanti Bahini.

If you want to deport them, then deport then in a systematic manner. We aren't in position to dictate that. It is solely GoI's responsibility, and not anyone else's.

That applies to all nations. Heck, visiting Indian leaders and diplomats never even mention the issue. All countries have a system for immigration and deportation including India. What's more, getting a visa to India is harder than getting an American one.

So it's really your problem.

Water and border issues are diplomatic and international matters just like the transit.

As for the transit, those north easterners don't look like they can finance $7 billion. Come up with a clear and an internationally recognized framework and then come forward. Take it or leave it.

Agreed. Deportation AFTER identification would be the best before we have another riot involving bodos/karbi people trying to get their hands on whoever they think is an illegal immigrant. Makes things dicey.

Nope, the Kalaadan has already gone through. With the contract sealed and the financing will be done by the GOI, the funds for the first phase were released a few years back. All goods shipped from Kolkata to Sitwe and then a 180 Km ride by river (river's being dredged and roads being built parallel to it to ensure multi modal transit) and road to NE. The feasibility studies showed that it would be cheaper than direct transit in bulk. Ships..gotta love ships..so commensurately it has been mandated that the handling capacity of the Kolkata port will also be increased- again the official go ahead for this too has been given. Yaara, we can't trust you folks and we always go for the cheaper option even if it will take a decade. That's just good business. It will disrupt any regional trade cooperation though- but that's OK, as long as FTA in goods is also signed with ASEAN- services bit was cleared this year. Its a more feasible economic plan.

So any transit that shall now be demanded will only be for the short term and as a gap filler. It would still be beneficial since it will cut costs for us to set up utility providers in NE, but needs must.

Who knows, maybe in a hundred years we'll get to cooperating.

We(general people) never even wanted that transit anyway:omghaha:

Just please leave us alone.

Yaara we needed it. It was never about wanting or not. Every time two nations fail to cooperate a sense of hostility prevails. The Indian populace then shows zero sympathy when Bangladesh voices its concerns..why do you think that Mamta Bannarjee got such rousing support on her Teesta stand? Most people don't even know what the whole issue is about in its specifics but they are willing to set aside their acrimony towards Mamta and cheer her on as she scuttles any water-sharing treaty..and I am not referring to PDF posters- general Indians. Such a deficit and hostile set up is no laughing matter, no?
