not hotspots, hotspot - China. I dont believe US has considerable military resources to deploy while at the same time its doing its China-focused military deployment/buildup. Those days were countries would fear 5-10K US soldiers is gone really.

In and around Ukraine, i expect Russia to dominate and beat up most adversaries- not because Russia is great, but because Russia is great when Russia plays on its strenghts, which this situation does. If US starts deploying serious military forces to Ukraine, Russia will immediately start attacking Ukraine.
