Hence the right attracks the working class now. It's partly how race became so politcised in this country.
Lets just review what i've said - if someone speaks out against a hair brained scheme put forward under the lgbqt agenda, you're accused of being homophobic. I'm not sure if there is metric to evidence it, but it's the perception. The perception in part is fanned by people who are homophobic and it gains traction with other people.
This is how the white working class man also feels about race. Black history month or kneeling at football matches are great examples. It's useful to an extent, but at some point, it's symbolism for the sake of it, but if you don't participate, your motives are questioned. Wilfred Zaha said in an interview recently he hates the kneeling, it makes him feel like less of a person. He says whats the point of the showmanship, when the real change does not come about. He remarked how some Eastern European countries were given fines by FifA/EUFA which he could have paid out of his back pocket.
