So now it went from Muslims to European white, ah ok. The British are amongst the most tolerant and generous folk anywhere on the planet and I was born in the 70's and grew up through the 80's where racism was far more prevalent.
I'll give you one personal account. After the London bombings, which were carried out by four terrorists, three of Pakistani extraction, the Pakistani earthquake struck. With the raw memory of the bombings still in the mind of the public we went out with donation buckets. Time and time again I saw white folk, of all sorts of backgrounds putting in 10, 20 and 50 pound notes and we raised £3,210 on that one day. That just goes to show their resolve and the fact they don't tar people with the same brush.
It's also no coincidence that Muslims have the best favourable ratings from the UK within Europe, and in fact better than any Non-Muslim majority state bar Canada (our brother country).
